The short version

• Card links on turnzerohq.com go to TCGplayer through our affiliate link.
• Links to sleeves, deck boxes and playmats go to Amazon through our Associates link. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
• If you buy something after following one, that store pays us a small commission.
• It costs you nothing extra. You pay the store's normal price; the commission comes out of their margin, not out of your order.
• It does not change which cards we recommend. Every card named in a guide is there because it is the right card for the point being made.

Where these links appear

Card names are linked throughout the site: in guides, in set articles, on card pages, and on published deck lists. Assume that any link to TCGplayer is an affiliate link. In the page source they carry rel="sponsored", which is how search engines are told the same thing.

Amazon links appear on three guides and nowhere else: our sleeves guide, our deck box guide, and the playmat entry on our Commander accessories guide. Those are the accessories TCGplayer does not sell, which is the only reason a second store appears on this site at all. They carry rel="sponsored" too, and each of those pages repeats the Amazon disclosure next to the links rather than relying on this page alone.

Every Amazon link is a search for a product rather than one seller's listing. We do not pick which listing you buy from, and we do not see or quote a price. An Amazon listing goes out of stock and changes price faster than a page built ahead of time could tell you.

Links to anywhere else (Scryfall, Wizards of the Coast, the app stores, our own Etsy shop) are not affiliate links. Card images come from Scryfall and earn us nothing.

Why this does not affect what we recommend

The Amazon half is the same trade: the rate does not vary by which sleeves you buy, and the five sleeve lines named in that guide were chosen and written about long before any of them was a link.

The commission is the same whichever card you buy, so there is no card we are paid more to suggest than another. Nothing on this site is a paid placement, and no retailer has any say in what we write.

The statistics on our card and commander pages are computed from real tracked games and are never adjusted for commercial reasons. A card with a poor win rate is reported with a poor win rate, whether or not it is expensive.

Prices

The prices shown on card pages are the market figures Scryfall publishes, refreshed nightly. They are a guide rather than a quote. The price at checkout is whatever TCGplayer is asking at that moment, and we do not set it, see it, or take a share of it beyond the commission described above.

A limitation worth knowing

TCGplayer serves the United States. If you are shopping from Europe, Cardmarket is the market you want, and for Magic Online objects it is Cardhoarder. We do not currently link to either. You are not missing a better price by ignoring our links and going straight to the store you already use.

Avoiding the links entirely

Nothing on this site is behind them. Every guide, statistic and deck list reads exactly the same whether or not you ever click through to a store, and you are welcome to search for a card yourself.
