Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you create an account or use the Service:

• Email address and display name (provided during registration or via Google Sign-In)
• Authentication data managed by Google Firebase Authentication
• Game data you create, including night sessions, game results, deck information, commander choices, and in-game statistics
• Player-to-player interactions within the app, such as friend requests and playgroup membership
• Moments and photos you choose to upload during game sessions
• Device push notification tokens, if you grant notification permissions

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to operate and improve the Service:

• To create and manage your account
• To track game history, statistics, and MMR ratings across your playgroup
• To enable social features such as friends, playgroups, and shared night sessions
• To send push notifications about game activity (only if you enable them). This includes telling your friends once a game starts at one of your gatherings, which is why it is limited to ones you have set to public or friends-only — a private gathering notifies nobody, and creating a gathering on its own notifies nobody either. Each kind of notification can be switched off separately in the app, under Profile → Notifications
• To generate AI-powered night recaps based on your game data
• To improve the app through aggregate, anonymized usage patterns

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Firebase Storage. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Google Firebase — authentication, storage, and cloud functions
• Google Sign-In — optional OAuth login
• Scryfall API — card image lookups (no personal data is shared)
• Google AdSense — display advertising on turnzerohq.com guides and set pages
• Google AdMob — advertising inside the free iOS and Android apps
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage measurement on our websites

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Your game data (such as your display name, deck names, and game results) is visible to other members of your playgroup within the app.

We do not pass any of that game data to advertisers. What advertising on this site does involve is standard for the web and worth stating plainly: Google AdSense sets cookies on turnzerohq.com and reads your IP address and the page you are on in order to serve and measure ads. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before any of that happens, and can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the same dialog. Ads in the iOS and Android apps are non-personalized: they use no advertising identifier, which is why the apps never ask for tracking permission.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time from the app — Profile, then Delete Account — which takes effect immediately. If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email us at support@turnzerohq.com and we will process the request within 30 days.

Deleting your account sets out both routes in full, along with what is removed, what stays visible to the other players you played with, and why.

Children's Privacy

TurnZero HQ is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
