Yes. Commander damage is tracked separately from general life loss, broken out by attacker, so it's always clear how close any player is to taking lethal Commander damage from a specific commander.
No. One player creates the gathering and needs an account, but other players at the table can be added as guests by name — they don't need to sign up to be tracked in that night's games. Players who want their own long-term deck stats and MMR history can create a free account at any time.
Yes. TurnZero HQ is built around the idea of a full Commander night, not just a single game. Every game you play in one gathering is linked together, so you get standings, win rates, and total damage across the whole night, not just the game in progress.
Every deck you play earns its own rating based on its wins and losses over time, similar to a matchmaking rating in other competitive games. It lets you see which of your decks are overperforming, which ones need a rebuild, and how a deck's win rate has trended across games and nights.
Yes. The Deck Lab is a full Commander deck builder: add cards by search, by camera scan or by importing a list, and the deck measures itself as you build. Lands, ramp, removal, card draw, interaction and the mana curve are each shown as a gauge against a target, so a list that is short on ramp says so rather than waiting for you to count it. Deck building is free on iOS, Android and the web.
Yes. Paste a deck link from Archidekt, Moxfield or Manabox and the list comes across, or paste the text export from anywhere that produces one. Section headers are respected, so a sideboard stays beside the deck instead of inflating it, and the set codes and collector numbers that deck sites append to card names are stripped automatically.
Two ways that answer different questions. A deterministic estimate updates while you build, counting the signals it can see — game changers, tutor density, fast mana, stax pieces, mass land denial and extra turns — and looking up the combos the list contains. The AI deck rating reads the whole list and writes a review of what the deck is actually built around. Both report a floor rather than a verdict, because a combo database only holds the combos somebody has written up and can never prove your deck has none.
Yes, and it is the main reason to build a deck in the same app that tracks the games. Saving an edit cuts a deck version, and every game is tagged with the version that was actually on the table, so win rate and MMR split per version instead of blending every rebuild under one deck name. That is how you tell a genuine improvement from a month of good draws.
For building and measuring a Commander list, it does the job on its own, and it now covers card pricing and collection tracking through My Library, plus a public page for any deck you publish. Both are newer and smaller than a site that has done nothing else for a decade, so plenty of players still keep a deck site open for browsing a deep archive and bring the list across. What TurnZero HQ adds is the half no decklist tool has: it sees the games, so it can say whether the version you just built is beating the version you retired.
TurnZero HQ supports every common Commander pod size: 1v1 duels, three-player, the classic four-player free-for-all, five and six-player games, and Two-Headed Giant — each with its own tile layout designed for that table size. Two-Headed Giant is a real mode rather than a label: partners share one life total, the two of you take a turn together, and the win goes to the side rather than to whoever was last standing.
TurnZero HQ is built around Commander (EDH) first — that's where its life tracking, Commander damage, deck MMR, and night recap features are deepest today. Support for other Magic formats, starting with Draft, is actively expanding.
After a gathering ends, TurnZero HQ can generate an AI-written recap that summarizes the night — who won, which decks stood out, and how the games swung — in a few readable sentences instead of a raw stat sheet. AI-generated recaps are a premium feature.

The free iOS and Android apps show occasional ads; the web app at app.turnzerohq.com does not. AI-generated night recaps are a premium feature.
Yes. Ad-free is $0.99 a month or $9.99 a year, and it does exactly that and nothing else — every other subscription tier already includes it, so there is no reason to buy both. Ads only appear in the iOS and Android apps, never in the web app at app.turnzerohq.com, never during a game, and never more than a few times a day. It does not cover this website: the guides and set pages here carry display ads, which is what pays for writing them, and no subscription removes those.
