Grolnok, the Omnivore card art

Grolnok, the Omnivore

Legendary Creature — Frog MV 4

Tracked across real Commander games played through TurnZero HQ.

What it does

Whenever a Frog you control attacks, mill three cards.

Whenever a permanent card is put into your graveyard from your library, exile it with a croak counter on it.

You may play lands and cast spells from among cards you own in exile with croak counters on them.

Grolnok's last ability allows you to play lands and cast spells from among all cards you own in exile with croak counters on them, regardless of whether they were put there by the Grolnok that's currently on the battlefield or by an earlier incarnation.

  • 2021-11-19

Grolnok, the Omnivore's second ability exiles all permanent cards that are put into your graveyard from your library, not just those that you mill when a Frog you control attacks.

Rulings are Wizards of the Coast's own, mirrored from Scryfall and refreshed nightly.

Every version of Grolnok, the Omnivore

4 printings, newest first. Prices are the market figures Scryfall publishes, refreshed nightly — a printing with no figure shows a dash rather than a zero, because Scryfall genuinely publishes none for some of them.

Prices from Scryfall, which tracks the TCGplayer and Cardmarket markets. They move daily and are a guide rather than a quote. Search TCGplayer for Grolnok, the Omnivore — a name search across every version, for the printings TCGplayer publishes no direct link to.

Aggregated from Commander games tracked in TurnZero HQ. Every figure counts decks and games only — no individual deck list, player or playgroup is identified. Win rates are withheld below 5 completed games, where the sample is too small to mean anything.
