Proud Wildbonder card art

Proud Wildbonder

Creature — Human Warrior MV 4

Tracked across real Commander games played through TurnZero HQ.

What it does

Trample

Creatures you control with trample have "You may have this creature assign its combat damage as though it weren't blocked."

Rulings

3 official rulings, in the order Wizards published them.

  • 2020-04-17

When assigning combat damage, you choose whether you want to assign all damage to blocking creatures and assign trample damage from that as normal, or if you want to assign all of it to the player or planeswalker the creature is attacking. You can’t assign some damage to one blocker then skip other blockers.

  • 2020-04-17

Proud Wildbonder’s last ability applies to itself as long as it still has trample.

  • 2020-04-17

You can decide to assign combat damage to the defending player or planeswalker even if the blocking creature has protection from green or other damage prevention effects applying to it.

Rulings are Wizards of the Coast's own, mirrored from Scryfall and refreshed nightly.

1 printing, newest first. Prices are the market figures Scryfall publishes, refreshed nightly — a printing with no figure shows a dash rather than a zero, because Scryfall genuinely publishes none for some of them.

Prices from Scryfall, which tracks the TCGplayer and Cardmarket markets. They move daily and are a guide rather than a quote. Search TCGplayer for Proud Wildbonder — a name search across every version, for the printings TCGplayer publishes no direct link to.

Aggregated from Commander games tracked in TurnZero HQ. Every figure counts decks and games only — no individual deck list, player or playgroup is identified. Win rates are withheld below 5 completed games, where the sample is too small to mean anything.
