What it does
As long as this Equipment is attached to a creature, the first time you would create one or more tokens each turn, you may instead create that many tokens that are copies of equipped creature.
Equip 2
Rulings
5 official rulings, in the order Wizards published them.
- 2025-11-17
If the copied creature is a token, the tokens that are created copy the original characteristics of that token as stated by the effect that created that token.
- 2025-11-17
Any enters abilities of the copied creature will trigger when the tokens enter. Any "as [this creature] enters" or "[this creature] enters with" abilities of the copied creature will also work.
- 2025-11-17
The tokens created by Mirrormind Crown's ability copy exactly what was printed on the equipped creature and nothing else (unless that creature is copying something else or is a token; see below). They don't copy whether that creature is tapped or untapped, whether it has any counters on it or Auras and Equipment attached to it, or any non-copy effects that have changed its power, toughness, types, color, and so on.
- 2025-11-17
If the copied creature is copying something else, then the tokens enter as whatever that creature copied.
- 2025-11-17
If the copied creature has X in its mana cost, X is 0.
Rulings are Wizards of the Coast's own, mirrored from Scryfall and refreshed nightly.

Prices from Scryfall, which tracks the TCGplayer and Cardmarket markets. They move daily and are a guide rather than a quote. Search TCGplayer for Mirrormind Crown. It runs a name search across every version, which covers the printings TCGplayer publishes no direct link to.
Aggregated from Commander games tracked in TurnZero HQ. Every figure counts decks and games only. No individual deck list, player or playgroup is identified. Win rates are withheld below 5 completed games, where the sample is too small to mean anything.
