What it does
Flying, protection from white and from black
When Ureni enters, it deals X damage divided as you choose among any number of target creatures and/or planeswalkers your opponents control, where X is the number of lands you control.
Rulings
One official ruling, as Wizards published it.
- 2025-04-04
You cannot choose more than X targets for Ureni’s triggered ability. You choose how the damage is divided immediately after choosing those targets. The value of X won’t change even if the number of lands you control changes after that point. That division of damage also won’t change, even if damage can’t be dealt to one or more of those targets as the ability resolves (usually because they’ve left the battlefield).
Rulings are Wizards of the Coast's own, mirrored from Scryfall and refreshed nightly.

Prices from Scryfall, which tracks the TCGplayer and Cardmarket markets. They move daily and are a guide rather than a quote. Search TCGplayer for Ureni, the Song Unending. It runs a name search across every version, which covers the printings TCGplayer publishes no direct link to.
Aggregated from Commander games tracked in TurnZero HQ. Every figure counts decks and games only. No individual deck list, player or playgroup is identified. Win rates are withheld below 5 completed games, where the sample is too small to mean anything.
