What it does
Flying
When this creature enters, reveal the top five cards of your library. An opponent separates those cards into two piles. Put one pile into your hand and the other into your graveyard.
Rulings
3 official rulings, in the order Wizards published them.
- 2017-11-17
A pile can have no cards in it. In this case, you'll choose whether to put all the revealed cards into your hand or into your graveyard.
- 2017-11-17
You (not your opponent) choose which pile to put into your hand and which to put into your graveyard.
- 2017-11-17
In multiplayer games, you choose an opponent to separate the cards when the ability resolves. This doesn't target that opponent. Because the cards are revealed, all players may see the cards and offer opinions.
Rulings are Wizards of the Coast's own, mirrored from Scryfall and refreshed nightly.

Prices from Scryfall, which tracks the TCGplayer and Cardmarket markets. They move daily and are a guide rather than a quote. Search TCGplayer for Sphinx of Uthuun — a name search across every version, for the printings TCGplayer publishes no direct link to.
Aggregated from Commander games tracked in TurnZero HQ. Every figure counts decks and games only — no individual deck list, player or playgroup is identified. Win rates are withheld below 5 completed games, where the sample is too small to mean anything.
