What it does
Counter target spell. If that spell is countered this way, put it on top of its owner's library instead of into that player's graveyard.

Rulings
One official ruling, as Wizards published it.
- 2016-06-08
Memory Lapse has a self-replacement effect that replaces the spell going to the graveyard before any other effect can replace that event. If the spell was cast using flashback, however, flashback will change the spell's destination from its owner's library to exile.
Rulings are Wizards of the Coast's own, mirrored from Scryfall and refreshed nightly.

Prices from Scryfall, which tracks the TCGplayer and Cardmarket markets. They move daily and are a guide rather than a quote. Search TCGplayer for Memory Lapse — a name search across every version, for the printings TCGplayer publishes no direct link to.
Aggregated from Commander games tracked in TurnZero HQ. Every figure counts decks and games only — no individual deck list, player or playgroup is identified. Win rates are withheld below 5 completed games, where the sample is too small to mean anything.
