A reprint in some of your packs
The List is not a set you buy. It is a pool of reprinted cards that Wizards adds to a slot in some booster types, starting with Zendikar Rising Set Boosters in September 2020. A List card is an ordinary reprint marked with a small planeswalker symbol in the lower-left corner, which is how you tell one apart from the original printing.
The pool changes with each release, so the card file grows over time rather than shipping all at once. The card catalog this site uses groups every List printing under one code, 5,737 printings so far, covering cards from across Magic's history and a large share of Commander staples. It also files some reprints that came from the original Mystery Booster under the same code.
Because every List card is a reprint, it is worth exactly what that card is worth for play: legal where the card already was, and nowhere new.
Where You Can Play It
The List is reprints, so legality is a per-card question.
Every card is a reprint, and a reprint doesn't change legality: each card is legal exactly where it already was. Appearing here does not make a card Standard- or Pioneer-legal.
The List never had a Standard legality of its own. A List printing of a card is legal wherever that card is legal; tokens and the few playtest-style entries the catalog files here are not cards you can play in a sanctioned deck. Commons from any set are Pauper-legal; that isn't listed per set here.
Boosters, precons and singles from The List are on TCGplayer.
