What it does
({T}: Add {R} or {G}.)
As this land enters, you may pay 2 life. If you don't, it enters tapped.
Rulings
2 official rulings, in the order Wizards published them.
- 2018-10-05
Unlike most dual lands, this land has two basic land types. It's not basic, so cards such as District Guide can't find it, but it does have the appropriate land types for effects such as that of Drowned Catacomb (from the Ixalan set).
- 2018-10-05
If an effect puts this land onto the battlefield tapped, you may pay 2 life, but it still enters tapped.
Rulings are Wizards of the Coast's own, mirrored from Scryfall and refreshed nightly.

Prices from Scryfall, which tracks the TCGplayer and Cardmarket markets. They move daily and are a guide rather than a quote. Search TCGplayer for Stomping Ground. It runs a name search across every version, which covers the printings TCGplayer publishes no direct link to.
Aggregated from Commander games tracked in TurnZero HQ. Every figure counts decks and games only. No individual deck list, player or playgroup is identified. Win rates are withheld below 5 completed games, where the sample is too small to mean anything.
