An Omenpath tears open above the neon skyline of Towashi and a chunk of Ikoria comes through with it. The behemoths land on Kamigawa, and the plane's factions — who have never especially agreed on anything — have to unite to stop them stomping, scorching, and shattering their home.
It is the third Kamigawa set and, by Wizards' own framing, Magic's first proper monsters-versus-mecha set: Neon Dynasty's machines pointed at Ikoria's kaiju, with art that leans openly into Pacific Rim. Expect the Godzilla-flavored monster tropes of Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths at a much larger scale.

What to expect mechanically
Nothing is confirmed yet. But the setup — a pilot-scale mech theme meeting an Ikoria-scale monster theme — points at the design space Ikoria already built (mutate, keyword counters, companion-style build-arounds) crossed with Neon Dynasty's artifact and Vehicle matters. Treat that as reasoning from the premise, not as a spoiler.
