Lorwyn's classes
Morningtide is the small second set of the Lorwyn block. Where Lorwyn was built around races such as Kithkin and Elves, Morningtide's tribal cards care about classes: Warriors, Shamans, Rogues, Wizards and Soldiers, which cut across those races.
Its mechanics follow from that. Kinship rewards you when the top card of your library shares a creature type with the kinship creature, prowl gives a cheaper cost if a creature of the right type dealt combat damage to a player this turn, and reinforce lets you discard a card to put +1/+1 counters on a creature.
Bitterblossom, which makes a 1/1 flying Faerie every upkeep for 1 life, and Vendilion Clique are its most famous cards. Commander players also use Negate, Distant Melody, Shared Animosity and Idyllic Tutor.
Themes
Kinship
An ability word: at the beginning of your upkeep, you may look at the top card of your library, and if it shares a creature type with this creature you may reveal it for a bonus.
Prowl
You may cast the spell for its prowl cost if you dealt combat damage to a player this turn with a creature of one of its types.
Reinforce
Discard this card and pay the reinforce cost to put N +1/+1 counters on target creature, at instant speed.
Where You Can Play It
Morningtide is a single code with nothing banned anywhere.
Not Standard-legal, and never Pioneer-legal: Pioneer starts at Return to Ravnica (October 2012). Everything here is legal in Modern, Legacy, Vintage and Commander unless a ban list says otherwise. None of its cards is banned or restricted in any of those formats. Commons from any set are Pauper-legal; that isn't listed per set here.
