Consuming Aberration card art

Consuming Aberration

Creature — Horror MV 5

Tracked across real Commander games played through TurnZero HQ.

What it does

Consuming Aberration's power and toughness are each equal to the number of cards in your opponents' graveyards.

Whenever you cast a spell, each opponent reveals cards from the top of their library until they reveal a land card, then puts those cards into their graveyard.

  • 2024-11-08

An ability that triggers when a player casts a spell resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger. It resolves even if that spell is countered or otherwise leaves the stack without resolving.

  • 2024-11-08

The ability that defines Consuming Aberration's power and toughness works in all zones, not just the battlefield.

  • 2024-11-08

If an opponent has no land cards in their library, all the cards from that library will be revealed and put into their graveyard.

Rulings are Wizards of the Coast's own, mirrored from Scryfall and refreshed nightly.

11 printings, newest first. Prices are the market figures Scryfall publishes, refreshed nightly — a printing with no figure shows a dash rather than a zero, because Scryfall genuinely publishes none for some of them.

Prices from Scryfall, which tracks the TCGplayer and Cardmarket markets. They move daily and are a guide rather than a quote. Search TCGplayer for Consuming Aberration — a name search across every version, for the printings TCGplayer publishes no direct link to.

Aggregated from Commander games tracked in TurnZero HQ. Every figure counts decks and games only — no individual deck list, player or playgroup is identified. Win rates are withheld below 5 completed games, where the sample is too small to mean anything.
