Releases November 13, 2026
"Seek out card draw, charge your starships." Picard costs four and draws a card whenever another historic permanent with mana value 3 or more enters under your control. His seek out trigger, on your second draw each turn, puts a +1/+1 counter on another creature and two charge counters on a Spacecraft.
Jean-Luc Picard, Luminary leads the deck. It's a Jeskai (WUR) deck of 100 cards, 32 of them new to Magic.
The decklist
Wizards named the face commander on October 20, 2026 and previews the four decklists one a day from October 26 to 29, with the full card gallery on October 30. The full list goes up on this page, at this address, as soon as it's out, along with our power and difficulty read.
