The second Modern Masters
What this set is
Modern Masters 2015 is the second Modern Masters set, two years after the first. Like it, every card is a reprint of something already Modern-legal, and it was built to draft as well as to reprint.
Its biggest reprints were the Eldrazi titans from Rise of the Eldrazi (Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre), Karn Liberated, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite and Tarmogoyf. Its draft themes come from Rise of the Eldrazi, the Scars of Mirrodin block and Ravnica.
Where You Can Play It
Format legality
Modern Masters 2015 is a reprint set, so legality is a per-card question.
Every card is a reprint, and a reprint doesn't change legality: each card is legal exactly where it already was. Appearing here does not make a card Standard- or Pioneer-legal.
Never Standard- or Pioneer-legal as a set. Its cards keep their own legality. Several reprints carry bans worth knowing: Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, Iona, Shield of Emeria and Primeval Titan are banned in Commander, and Eye of Ugin is banned in Modern. Commons from any set are Pauper-legal; that isn't listed per set here.
