The renegades fight back

What this set is

Aether Revolt finishes the Kaladesh block. The renegades who opposed the Consulate in Kaladesh now revolt openly, and the set's two new mechanics reflect that: revolt, which rewards having a permanent leave the battlefield, and improvise, which lets your artifacts help pay for spells.

Energy and Vehicles continue from Kaladesh. Commander players use it for Heroic Intervention, Walking Ballista, Sram, Senior Edificer and Rishkar, Peema Renegade. Paradox Engine is banned in Commander.
