Typal decks and eminence
What this set is
Commander 2017 is built around creature types: Dragons, Vampires, Cats and Wizards each get a deck. It is the first year of the series with four decks instead of five.
Its face commanders introduced eminence, an ability that works while the commander is on the battlefield or in the command zone. The Ur-Dragon makes other Dragon spells cheaper before it is ever cast, and Edgar Markov makes a Vampire token whenever you cast another Vampire, from the start of the game.
Path of Ancestry, a land for typal decks, is also from here.
