Rage of the Abyss Card List and Set Guide

Overview

Rage of the Abyss released October 10, 2024, with 101 cards under the ROTA set code, ROTA-EN000 to EN100: 50 Commons, 26 Super Rares, 14 Ultra Rares and 10 Secret Rares, and no Rares. ROTA-EN000, Ultimate Dragon of Pride and Soul, is a Quarter Century Secret Rare only, and 24 other cards also have a Quarter Century Secret Rare version. The catalog also lists six Super Rare Token cards under TKN5-EN011 to EN016 with this set, which makes 131 printings.

All 101 ROTA cards were new to the TCG.

Azamina and Mimighoul get seven cards each, Primite five, and Battlewasp, Six Samurai and Abyss cards four each. Other new cards include Mulcharmy Fuwalos, Dominus Impulse, Lacrima the Crimson Tears and Red-Eyes Black Fullmetal Dragon.

Cards and rarities

Rage of the Abyss has 107 set codes, each starting ROTA-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.

24 set codes carry a Quarter Century Secret Rare on top of their regular rarity, Ultimate Dragon of Pride and Soul is a Quarter Century Secret Rare only, and the six TKN5 Tokens add six more, which is why the rows add up to 131 printings for 107 set codes. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version.
