Riftbound · 2025 Set Guide
Riftbound's starter box, released alongside Origins: four prebuilt decks, led by Annie, Master Yi, Lux and Garen, for two to four players learning the game together.
Proving Grounds is a starter box rather than a set you open packs of. It came out on October 31, 2025, the same day as Origins, with four prebuilt decks for two to four players.
Riot's card gallery lists 24 cards under its own code, OGS. Each of the four champions has a Legend, a Signature card and two champion units among them, and the other eight are spells and units that support those decks.
Its Legends are named as starters, such as Wuju Bladesman, Starter for Master Yi, which sets them apart from the champions' Legends in the main sets.
Proving Grounds has 24 cards in its main set. Each one prints its number over that total at the bottom left, after the set code, as in OGS · 001/024.
Proving Grounds has no alternate arts, overnumbered or signature printings, and TCGplayer lists every one of its 24 cards in the Normal finish only. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts a set against its printed total and keeps the extras apart, so finishing the main set and chasing the overnumbered and signature printings read as two separate goals. Each deck is led by one of the four Legends. Like every Legend, each sets two domains and names its champion, and each has one Signature card in the box.
Lux's Legend shares Mind and Order with Origins' Viktor, and Garen's shares Body and Order with Origins' Sett, so a player moving on from the box can carry those domains into a main-set deck.
| Legend | Domains | Signature card |
|---|---|---|
| Dark Child, Starter | Fury and Chaos | Tibbers |
| Wuju Bladesman, Starter | Calm and Body | Highlander |
| Lady of Luminosity, Starter | Mind and Order | Final Spark |
| Might of Demacia, Starter | Body and Order | Decisive Strike |
Proving Grounds is a box for learning the game, not one collectors chase. On September 30 its most valuable card was the Master Yi Legend at $20.54, and only two of its 24 cards were above $5.
| Card | Number | Rarity | Market price, September 30, 2026 |

These are each printing's TCGplayer market price on September 30, 2026, all of them for the Normal finish, the only one TCGplayer lists for these printings. Prices for a set can move a long way in its first months, so treat them as a snapshot. Each card's page shows today's price and its 90-day chart. How Riftbound card prices work →
