Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG · 2026 Set Guide
A 100-card core booster set where every card is new, split among Dark Time Wizard, Ashtra, Atlantis and a run of smaller themes, with a $1,324.98 Starlight Rare at the top on release day.
Beyond the Brave is the fourth core booster set of 2026, after Burst Protocol, Blazing Dominion and Chaos Origins. It has 50 Commons, 26 Super Rares, 16 Ultra Rares and 10 Secret Rares, and 25 of its cards are also printed as Starlight Rares. Those counts add up to more than 100 because The Great Gallant Bandit and Elemental Saga Doriado are each printed at Ultra Rare, Secret Rare and Starlight Rare.
Every card in the set is new. The catalog dates all 100 to October 8, 2026, and none of them had been printed anywhere else when this guide was written.
Three themes get ten cards each. The first is Dark Time Wizard, a Quick-Play Spell, and the nine cards that mention it; its monsters are new takes on old names such as Jinzo and Red-Eyes Black Dragon. Ashtra is a Trap deck whose monsters Special Summon themselves by returning a face-down card you control. Atlantis, City of the Sea Dragon and the Daedalus monsters turn into Umi on the field. Smaller groups support Umbral Horror and the Barian's cards, Angelechy, Ars Magna, Adamancipator and Destiny HERO.
Beyond the Brave has 100 set codes, each starting BETB-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.
Two cards come at three rarities: The Great Gallant Bandit and Elemental Saga Doriado are each printed as Ultra Rare, Secret Rare and Starlight Rare. On October 8 the catalog had no price yet for eight of the 25 Starlight Rares, among them Hey, Space Trunade! and three of the Atlantis and Daedalus cards. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. Beyond the Brave spreads its 100 cards across eight themes. These six cards lead the biggest of them. Angelechy, which started in Chaos Origins, gets seven more cards, and Adamancipator five.
Dark Time Wizard
BETB-EN052
A Quick-Play Spell with two modes. One adds a card that mentions Dark Time Wizard from your Deck and returns Dark Time Wizard to your hand in the End Phase. The other tosses a coin: call it right and you destroy as many of your opponent's monsters as possible; call it wrong and you destroy all of yours.
Akasuna the Battle Ashtra
BETB-EN009
Special Summons itself from your hand by returning a face-down card you control. As a Quick Effect it sends a Trap from your hand or face-down field to the GY to flip every face-up monster your opponent controls face-down, and in your End Phase it Sets an Ashtra Trap from your Deck.
Levia-Dragon of Atlantis - Daedalus
BETB-EN013
Its name becomes Umi on the field. It Special Summons itself if you control Atlantis, City of the Sea Dragon or Umi, and sends up to three face-up Umi you control to the GY to add that many cards that mention Atlantis from your Deck.
Destiny HERO - Destro-Dogma
BETB-EN021
Special Summoned from your hand or GY by banishing three Warrior or DARK monsters from your GY. Once per turn, when your opponent activates a card or effect, it can Fusion Summon a Warrior or DARK Fusion Monster by shuffling the materials into the Deck.
Number C104: Umbral Horror Masquerade Victory
BETB-EN043
A Rank 5 Xyz Monster that detaches a material as a Quick Effect to destroy a card your opponent controls. In battle its ATK becomes the opposing monster's higher stat plus 100, and when it destroys a monster by battle it sends a random card from your opponent's hand to the GY and halves their LP.
Ars Magna the Finite and the Infinite
BETB-EN018
Banish it from your hand to add a non-Warrior Ars Magna monster from your Deck. While you control a Power Patron Link Monster it banishes a monster on the field, and it returns from banishment when a Fusion or Link Monster is Special Summoned.
These four work outside any one archetype, and three of them are among the set's most valuable printings.
The Great Gallant Bandit
BETB-EN027
A Level 10 you can Tribute Summon with monsters in your hand or on your opponent's field while you control no monsters. Normal Summoned, it negates and destroys an opponent's card whose effect activates in the hand, GY or banishment, and in the Battle Phase it can switch all their monsters to Defense Position.
Elemental Saga Doriado
BETB-EN028
With three or more Attributes among the monsters in your GY, it Special Summons itself and a monster from your GY, or Special Summons a monster with a new Attribute from your Deck. Neither player can respond to either effect.
Mediclius the Extraordinary Power Patron
BETB-EN048
A Link-3 that needs a Fusion, Synchro, Xyz or Link Monster among its materials. Its effects depend on how many monsters it points to: negate your opponent's monsters and halve their ATK, be unaffected by their activated effects, and at three, banish itself and every card your opponent controls.
Hey, Space Trunade!
BETB-EN068
Returns up to two cards from the field to the hand, then each player puts as many cards from their hand on the bottom of their Deck as were returned to them.

The Dark Time Wizard cards are built to find each other. Dark Time Wizard adds any card that mentions it and comes back to your hand at the end of the turn, Swiftwind Panther Warrior Tributes a monster to Special Summon another monster that mentions Dark Time Wizard from your hand or Deck, and Jinzo - Energy Shocker, whose name becomes Jinzo, stops your opponent from activating Traps while you have another monster that mentions Dark Time Wizard in your field or GY. Red-Eyes Black Dragon Exceed can be Special Summoned by Tributing a monster on either field in a turn Dark Time Wizard destroyed a monster.
Ashtra plays from face-down cards. Its Main Deck monsters Special Summon themselves by returning a Set card to your hand, then Set Ashtra Traps again in the End Phase, and Ashtrashen - Gate to the Worlds Beyond trades your face-down cards for Ashtra cards from your Deck.
Black Skull Dragon, the Archfiend of Unity and Spell Shattering Sword add to the Light and Darkness Ritual cards from Chaos Origins, and Sacred Beasts Skyfall adds to that set's Sacred Beasts.
None of the 100 cards in Beyond the Brave was on the Forbidden & Limited List as of October 9, 2026, so you can run three copies of any of them.
October 8, 2026, in Europe and Oceania, and October 9 in North America. Its set code is BETB, and the cards run from BETB-EN001 to BETB-EN100.
100, all of them new. Twenty-five also come as Starlight Rares and two come at three rarities, so the set has 127 printings in all.

A Quick-Play Spell at BETB-EN052 and the center of the set's largest theme. Nine other cards in the set mention it, among them Jinzo - Energy Shocker and Red-Eyes Black Dragon Exceed. Its coin-toss mode destroys your opponent's monsters if you call it right and yours if you call it wrong.
