Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG · 2022 Set Guide
The last core booster set of 2022, which introduced Kashtira and Bystial and added Blackwing and Amazoness support. The Starlight Rare Blazing Cartesia, the Virtuous leads, ahead of Tearlaments Rulkallos.
Darkwing Blast released October 20, 2022, with 101 cards under the DABL set code: 50 Commons, 26 Super Rares, 14 Ultra Rares and 10 Secret Rares, and no Rares. Four cards also have a Starlight Rare version, and DABL-EN100, Black-Winged Dragon, is a Starlight Rare only, which makes 105 printings.
100 of the 101 cards were new to the TCG. The other, Black-Winged Dragon, is a reprint from 2010.
Blackwing, Ghoti and Amazoness get seven cards each, Kashtira six, and Bystial and Ninja five each. General cards include Blazing Cartesia, the Virtuous, Spellbound and Muckraker From the Underworld.
Darkwing Blast has 101 set codes, each starting DABL-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.
Four set codes carry a Starlight Rare on top of their regular rarity, and Black-Winged Dragon is a Starlight Rare only, which is why the rows add up to 105 printings for 101 set codes. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version.
