Legendary Collection 2: The Duel Academy Years (LC02) is the 13-card set of Ultra Rares from the Legendary Collection 2 box, released October 4, 2011, with codes LC02-EN001 to LC02-EN013. The box's 266-card Mega Pack has its own code, LCGX, and its own guide.

Every card is an Ultra Rare. Six are reprints: the three Sacred Beasts from Shadow of Infinity and three Darklords from a 2010 prize card set. Seven were new: Cyber Larva, Lion Alligator, Spawn Alligator, Elemental HERO Great Tornado, Parallel World Fusion, Dragonic Tactics and Court of Justice.

TCGplayer prices the set only as Limited Edition, and its prices are very low: on October 23, 2026 no card was above $1.

Cards and rarities

Legendary Collection 2: The Duel Academy Years has 13 set codes, each starting LC02-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.

RarityCardsWhat they are
Ultra Rare13All 13 cards.

Each code is printed at a single rarity, so the rows add up to the set's 13 cards. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. The reprints

The box's reprinted Ultra Rares, which many collectors bought it for.

Playing it

No Legendary Collection 2: The Duel Academy Years card is on the Forbidden & Limited List as of October 23, 2026, so a deck can run three copies of any of them.

The three Sacred Beasts here play the same as their Shadow of Infinity printings, so this is the cheapest way to get them into a deck.
