Disney Lorcana · Set 2 · 2023 Set Guide
The second Lorcana set doubled down on Shift: 24 Floodborn characters to play on top of their earlier selves, the new Resist keyword, and Cinderella as its chase Enchanted.
Rise of the Floodborn is Disney Lorcana's second set. Its 204 regular cards split evenly across the six inks, 34 each: 159 characters, 14 actions, 13 songs and 18 items.
As the name says, it is the Floodborn set. Shift is on 24 cards, twice The First Chapter's 12, and every one of them is a Floodborn character. Resist, which reduces the damage a character takes, is new here, on 5 cards. The Seven Dwarfs arrive as a classification of their own, on 7 cards.
Like set 1, it has 12 Enchanted cards and no Epic or Iconic cards.
Rise of the Floodborn has 216 cards. The collector line at the bottom of each card shows its number over 204, the count of regular cards, then the language and the set number 2, as in "1/204 · EN · 2". Cards numbered above 204 are the 12 Enchanted cards.
Every Enchanted card is a foil reprint of a card from the same set with new art, so it plays exactly like the regular printing. The Epic and Iconic rarities did not exist yet: Fabled introduced both in 2025. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the regular cards by collector number and keeps Enchanted, Epic and Iconic cards apart as extras, so finishing the set and chasing the cards above it read as two separate goals. Each Floodborn character has a Shift cost lower than its printed cost, paid by playing it on top of a character with the same name. 19 of the set's 24 Shift cards cost 5 or more, so the cheaper version you play first is what makes them affordable early.
Resist is printed with a number: damage dealt to the character is reduced by that much. Cogsworth - Grandfather Clock gives your other characters Resist +1, and Hercules - Divine Hero has Resist +2 on his own.
Yzma - Scary Beyond All Reason

Rise of the Floodborn's chase card is the Enchanted Cinderella - Ballroom Sensation, illustrated by Casey Robin, at $260.68 on October 22, 2026. The Enchanted Alice - Growing Girl was second at $162.85.
The regular Cinderella is a Rare at number 3, where it was $1.64, or $6.96 in foil. An Enchanted can reprint a card of any rarity, and here the chase card's regular printing is not a Legendary at all.

Rise of the Floodborn is not legal in Core Constructed. Core Constructed began with Fabled (set 9) in 2025, which reprinted 170 cards from sets 1 to 4, and has never included sets 1 to 4 themselves. Infinity Constructed allows every set.
Shift is a two-card plan, which is the cost to weigh. A deck built around Floodborn characters wants enough cheap versions of the same names to Shift onto, or the Shift card is just an expensive character.
It reached game stores on November 17, 2023, and mass retail on December 1, 2023. It is set 2.
216: 204 regular cards and 12 Enchanted. Set completion counts the 204 regular cards.
A character with Shift. You can play it on top of one of your characters with the same name for its Shift cost, which is lower than its normal cost, and it keeps that character's place in play.
On October 22, 2026, the Enchanted Cinderella - Ballroom Sensation (205) at about $261, then the Enchanted Alice - Growing Girl (213) at about $163. Prices move daily, so check each card's page for the current figure.
