So a set reads like 142 / 204, with the extras shown as their own count next to it. Finishing the main set is a milestone on its own, and the chase cards stay visible without making it look further away than it is. Reading the collector line →
Completion counts collector numbers, not artworks. Into the Inklands prints five Dalmatian Puppy cards as 4a to 4e, and any one of them fills number 4, so a set can reach 204 / 204 without all five.
Lorcast doesn't publish a set's printed total, so TurnZero HQ works it out from the set itself: the regular cards are the numbers before the first Enchanted, Epic or Iconic card. Everything numbered after that goes in the extras tally:

The checklists cover every set in the English catalog, 25 in all as of September 2026, the promo sets included. The main sets and the regular cards each is counted against:
By collector numbers owned out of the set's regular cards. The First Chapter's cards read like 115/204 • EN • 1, so the main set is complete at 204 of 204. Enchanted, Epic and Iconic cards, numbered past that, are counted in a separate extras tally beside it. Four copies of one card count as one card toward the set.
Not toward the main count. Enchanted cards, and the Epic and Iconic cards newer sets add, are shown as their own tally, like 3 of 38 extras, because they sit on top of a finished set rather than being part of finishing it.
No. Normal and Foil are finishes of the same card, so owning either ticks it. Your finishes are still recorded on each copy, with their own prices.
Yes. A promo set has no chase cards numbered past a total, so every card in it counts toward the set and there is no extras tally.
