Shimmering Skies Set Guide

Overview

Shimmering Skies is Disney Lorcana's fifth set. Its 204 regular cards split evenly across the six inks, 34 each: 145 characters, 21 actions, 19 items, 12 locations and 7 songs.

It adds no keyword. What it adds are groups to build around: Wreck-It Ralph's Sugar Rush racers bring the Racer classification, on 12 cards, and the Knight classification, on 10, gets payoffs such as Snow White - Fair-Hearted, who gains Resist for each other Knight you have. Shift is on 18 cards.

One card sits above the Enchanted run: a foil Rare, Half Hexwell Crown, at 223.

Cards and rarities

Shimmering Skies has 223 cards. The collector line at the bottom of each card shows its number over 204, the count of regular cards, then the language and the set number 5, as in "1/204 · EN · 5". Cards numbered above 204 are the Enchanted cards and an overnumbered Rare.

Every Enchanted card is a foil reprint of a card from the same set with new art, so it plays exactly like the regular printing. The Epic and Iconic rarities did not exist yet: Fabled introduced both in 2025. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the regular cards by collector number and keeps Enchanted, Epic and Iconic cards apart as extras, so finishing the set and chasing the cards above it read as two separate goals. Racers and Knights

The racers lean on locations. Taffyta Muttonfudge - Sour Speedster gains 2 lore once a turn when she moves to a location, and Sugar Rush Speedway - Starting Line lets you damage a character of yours to move it to another location for free. Vanellope von Schweetz appears in four versions.

Nine of the ten Knights are Steel: the Seven Dwarfs, Snow White and Sir Ector, with Donald Duck - Pie Slinger in Ruby. Their cards reward having more than one in play: Dopey - Knight Apprentice deals 1 damage when played if you have another Knight, and Grumpy - Skeptical Knight gives a Knight at a location Resist +2.

Playing it

Shimmering Skies is not legal in Core Constructed. It left Core Constructed when Attack of the Vine! released in July 2026, which rotated out sets 5 to 8. Core now uses Fabled (set 9) onward, and Infinity Constructed still allows every set.

The racers and Knights are group decks, which is their tradeoff: their best cards reward having several of the group in play, so a deck built around either one wants enough copies of the group that the payoffs aren't stranded.
