A card printed at two rarities shares one set code, so it counts once here, and each guide's rarity table counts it at both.

The chase card in each set

Every set has one printing its collectors open packs for. These are each set's most valuable cards on October 22, 2026. Legendary Dragon Decks is left out because the catalog has no prices for it.

Prices are TCGplayer 1st Edition market prices on October 22, 2026 unless the table names another edition, and they move daily. Each set guide has the chase card's other printings and the rest of its chase list.

The top rarities in 2017

A Yu-Gi-Oh! card's rarity is in its foil, not in a printed symbol, and one set code can be printed at several rarities. In 2017 every core booster set topped out at Secret Rare, and the side products used Super, Ultra, Secret and Gold Rares. Reading the foil →
