The guides
War of the Giants Reinforcements (January 17, 2014). A 104-card reprint set released the same day as War of the Giants: Round 2, with the same card list plus Zubaba General. Every card was printed before 2014.
War of the Giants: Round 2 (January 17, 2014). A 103-card reprint set of older single cards, from Wall of Illusion to Mecha Phantom Beast Stealthray. Prices are low across it, and the Super Rare Mystic Box leads.
Legacy of the Valiant (January 24, 2014). The first core booster set of 2014: 100 new cards, with Sylvan, Ghostrick, Bujin and Gravekeeper's as the main themes and Number 101: Silent Honor ARK as the chase.
Star Pack 2014 (February 21, 2014). A 50-card Star Pack of reprints, each card at Common and Starfoil Rare. Most were first released in 2011 and 2012, and every printing was under $8 on October 22, 2026.
Premium Gold (March 28, 2014). A 90-card collector set printed entirely in gold: 29 new cards, the three Egyptian Gods and 58 Gold Rare reprints, led by Dark Magician Girl and Thunder King Rai-Oh.
Dragons of Legend (April 25, 2014). A 51-card set of Super Rares and Secret Rares, almost all new, with Dark Magician Fusions, Legendary Knights, Blackwing Tuners and anime cards. Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight is the chase.
Primal Origin (May 16, 2014). The second core booster set of 2014, with Artifact as its new theme and more Sylvan, Ghostrick, Bujin and Noble Knight. The Galaxy-Eyes Number Monsters are the chase.
Duelist Alliance (August 14, 2014). The third core booster set of 2014 and the first with Pendulum Monsters in it, with Shaddoll, Yang Zing, Tellarknight and Burning Abyss. El Shaddoll Construct is the chase.
Legendary Collection 5D's Mega Pack (October 23, 2014). A 256-card mega pack of 5D's-era Synchro cards, almost all reprints, grouped by theme from Synchron to T.G. Two new Synchron Tuners are the only new cards, and Blackwing Ultra Rares are the chase.
The New Challengers (November 6, 2014). The last core booster set of 2014, with Qliphort and Fluffal as new themes and more Shaddoll, Yang Zing, Tellarknight and Burning Abyss. The Ghost Rare Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon is the chase.
