Hyperia City Set Guide

Overview

Hyperia City is Disney Lorcana's fourteenth set and the fourth of 2026. Its 204 regular cards split evenly across the six inks, 34 each: 152 characters, 16 items, 14 songs, 14 actions and 8 locations.

Its new mechanic is ink drops: 45 of its regular cards make them, spend them or reward you for spending them. Music runs through the set too. Coco's Miguel and Héctor Rivera debut, Singer is on 10 cards, and four of the Legendaries care about songs.

It also brings Adventurous, the newest keyword: a character with it can't challenge and must quest each turn if able. Mickey Mouse - Best in Town, the set's top Iconic, has it.

Cards and rarities

Hyperia City has 242 cards. The collector line at the bottom of each card shows its number over 204, the count of regular cards, then the language and the set number 14, as in "1/204 · EN · 14". Cards numbered above 204 are the Epic, Enchanted and Iconic extras.

Every Epic, Enchanted and Iconic card is a foil reprint of a card from the same set with new art, so it plays exactly like the regular printing. That is why a Legendary and its Iconic can sit a thousand dollars apart. Ink drops

An ink drop is a counter, not a card. The reminder text says you may remove an ink drop to pay 1 ink, so a drop works like stored ink: you get it on one turn and spend it on a later one. Higitus Figitus, a song, gets you 3 of them, and Arthur - Novice Blacksmith turns 1 ink into a drop when he's played.

Other cards pay you back for spending drops. Jousting Match deals 5 damage instead of 2 if you removed an ink drop to play it, Madam Mim - Resourceful Trickster draws 2 cards the same way, and Baymax - Amped Up Shifts by removing 2 ink drops instead of paying ink.

Hyperia City has 12 Legendaries, two in each ink. Its two Iconics are not Legendaries: both reprint Super Rares, Mickey Mouse - Best in Town and Cinderella - Unintentional Icon.

Hyperia City's chase card is the Iconic Mickey Mouse - Best in Town, illustrated by Jochem Van Gool. At $3,740.46 on October 22, 2026, a week after the prerelease, it was worth three and a half times the other Iconic, Cinderella - Unintentional Icon, at $1,066.66.

The same Mickey is a Super Rare at number 23, where it was $8.48, or $11.11 in foil. A new set's prices move a long way in its first months, and these were read before wide release.

Chase cards and prices

Playing it

Hyperia City joins the Core Constructed pool beside Fabled (set 9) through Attack of the Vine! (set 13); Ravensburger's rotation explainer has rotation once a year, and that rotation came with Attack of the Vine!. Check your event's rules for when the set became tournament legal. Infinity Constructed allows every set.

Ink drops let you move ink from a turn where you have spare to a turn where you need it, and the cards that reward spending them make that worth planning around. The cost is the ink or card you spend to make a drop in the first place, so they pay off most in a deck that has several drop makers and several payoffs.
