Disney Lorcana · Set 11 · 2026 Set Guide
The first Lorcana set of 2026 brings Boost back from Whispers in the Well, puts it on a location for the first time, and fills its Legendary slots with Elsa, Moana, Scrooge McDuck and Darkwing Duck.
Winterspell is Disney Lorcana's eleventh set and the first of 2026. Its 204 regular cards split evenly across the six inks, 34 each, and none of them is dual-ink.
The set's theme is winter. Elsa and Anna from Frozen sit at Legendary, and a run of characters cast as Mickey's Christmas Carol figures (Goofy as the Ghost of Jacob Marley, Willie the Giant as the Ghost of Christmas Present, Pete as the Ghost of Christmas Future) carries several of the Boost cards.
It also adds the Super classification, used here by Darkwing Duck and his St. Canard cast, which Wilds Unknown then builds on with The Incredibles.
Winterspell has 242 cards. The collector line at the bottom of each card shows its number over 204, the count of regular cards, then the language and the set number 11, as in "1/204 · EN · 11". Cards numbered above 204 are the Epic, Enchanted and Iconic extras.
Every Epic, Enchanted and Iconic card is a foil reprint of a card from the same set with new art, so it plays exactly like the regular printing. That is why a Legendary and its Iconic can sit a thousand dollars apart. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the regular cards by collector number and keeps Enchanted, Epic and Iconic cards apart as extras, so finishing the set and chasing the cards above it read as two separate goals. Boost first appeared in Whispers in the Well, and 18 of Winterspell's regular cards have it. Once during your turn, you may pay the Boost cost to put the top card of your deck facedown under the character. The cards under it count for whatever its other abilities say.
Most Boost cards scale with the cards under them: Genie gains lore, Wreck-it Ralph gains strength, and Pete looks deeper into your deck when he quests. Scrooge's Counting House is the first location with Boost, gaining willpower and lore for each card under it. Cards such as Minnie Mouse - Mrs. Cratchit and Donald Duck - Fred Honeywell put extra cards under your Boost characters without paying for it.

Winterspell's chase card is the Iconic Moana - Curious Explorer, illustrated by Leslie Strock. At $1,250.98 on September 30, 2026 it was the set's most valuable card, with the other Iconic, Pocahontas - Peacekeeper, close behind at $1,059.36.
The same Moana is a Legendary at number 155, where it was $8.05, or $15.44 in foil. The card text is identical, so a player who wants Moana's ability in a deck needs only the Legendary.

Every Winterspell card is legal in Core Constructed. Core Constructed has used sets 9 (Fabled) onward since Attack of the Vine! released in July 2026, when sets 5 to 8 rotated out; sets 1 to 4 had left at the first rotation, with Fabled in 2025. Infinity Constructed allows every set.
Boost asks for ink every turn, which is the cost to weigh. A Boost character that sits back and takes cards under it is spending the ink you would otherwise use to play another card, so it pays off most in a deck that wants to stretch a few strong characters over a long game.
Prerelease events started February 13, 2026, and wide release was February 20, 2026. Winterspell is set 11.
242: 204 regular cards, 18 Epic, 18 Enchanted and 2 Iconic. Set completion counts the 204 regular cards.
Boost is a keyword with an ink cost. Once during your turn, you may pay it to put the top card of your deck facedown under that character or location. Other abilities on the card count the cards under it.
On September 30, 2026, the Iconic Moana - Curious Explorer (242) at about $1,251, then the Iconic Pocahontas - Peacekeeper (241) at about $1,059. The top Enchanted was Elsa - Ice Artisan at about $717. Prices move daily, so check each card's page for the current figure.
