Disney Lorcana
Hyperia City is Disney Lorcana's 14th set, a city where, in Ravensburger's words, metro meets the fantastical. This page collects what has been officially announced as of September 28, 2026, what is only reported, and what isn't known yet.
Hyperia City prereleases on October 16, 2026 and goes on wide release on October 23, 2026. Everything below is as of September 28, 2026, and each row says where it comes from.
Ravensburger's press release of September 22, 2026 gives two dates. Prerelease events start on October 16, 2026, in game stores and select Disney Parks and stores, and the set is available everywhere on October 23, 2026. A prerelease is the first chance to play the set, usually with a prerelease box opened at the event.
Lorcast lists Hyperia City with a date of October 16, 2026, the prerelease date, and you may see that date on other sites too. The wide release is October 23.
The official Hyperia City product page names three kinds of product: booster packs and booster display boxes, the Illumineer's Trove, and prerelease boxes. A two-player starter set is also listed by retailers.
Retailer listings disagree on the second starter deck's name ("Madcap Magic" or "Madcap Whimsy"), so wait for the box before relying on either. Fan and retail sites also list playmats, a Beast gift box and a Collection Starter Set: Rapunzel Edition alongside Hyperia City. We have not found those on Ravensburger's Hyperia City page, so treat their contents and dates as unconfirmed.
Ravensburger also showed Hyperia City promo cards for Set Championships, Magical Places, Buy-A-Box and the prerelease kit. Which ones you can get depends on whether your store takes part in those programs.
Ravensburger hasn't published a card count for Hyperia City. For comparison, main sets 1 to 12 each have 204 regular cards and Attack of the Vine! has 207, with the Enchanted, Epic and Iconic cards numbered after them. As of September 28, 2026, Lorcast lists 70 Hyperia City cards, numbered as high as 201, so the regular set runs to at least 201.
The press release confirms Enchanted cards and two Iconic cards, Mickey Mouse - Best in Town and Cinderella - Unintentional Icon, which Ravensburger calls the rarest cards in the set. It doesn't give an Enchanted count or mention Epic cards. Every main set since Into the Inklands has had 18 Enchanted cards, and every set since Fabled has had 18 Epic and 2 Iconic cards, but a pattern isn't an announcement. How Enchanted, Epic and Iconic differ →
The 70 cards Lorcast lists cover every ink and all five regular rarities, from common to legendary, so the set keeps Lorcana's usual six inks.
Ink drops are Hyperia City's new mechanic. Ravensburger describes an ink drop as a counter that gives you a one-time-use ink you can spend to play cards from your hand or to power up other cards, and designer Lukas Litzsinger has said the mechanic can change the tempo of a game.
The cards Lorcast lists so far explain it in reminder text: you may remove an ink drop to pay 1 ink. Cards make ink drops in different ways, and some pay you back for spending one:
So an ink drop works like stored ink: you bank it on one turn and spend it on a later one, and a few cards reward you for playing them with it. Rules details beyond the reminder text, such as how ink drops interact with every existing cost, are for the comprehensive rules, and we haven't seen them yet.
Disney and Pixar's Coco makes its Lorcana debut in Hyperia City. Ravensburger's announcement also names returning Disney Princesses, Mickey Mouse, and Honey Lemon from Big Hero 6, and it splits the city into neighborhoods: City Center, Wandering Straits, Old Towne Hyperia, the Marigold District, where Coco's characters play as street musicians, and M.A.G.I.C. Academy.
The cards Lorcast lists show more. Besides Coco (Ernesto de la Cruz - Ruthless Musician and Mamá Coco - Visiting the Park, among others) and Big Hero 6 (Baymax, Wasabi and Fred), there are cards from The Sword in the Stone (Arthur, Merlin, Madam Mim and Archimedes), The Aristocats (Duchess, Thomas O'Malley, Marie, Berlioz and Toulouse), Zootopia (Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde and Mayor Lionheart) and Gargoyles (Elisa Maza, Brooklyn, Lexington and the Xanatos family).
Hyperia City adds to the Core Constructed pool rather than rotating a block out. Ravensburger's rotation explainer says that from Attack of the Vine! on, Core Constructed uses cards from Fabled (set 9) onward, and that rotation happens once a year, removing the four oldest legal sets. That rotation came with Attack of the Vine!, and the Hyperia City announcement doesn't mention another one.
As of September 28, 2026, sets 9 (Fabled) through 13 (Attack of the Vine!) are Core-legal and sets 1 through 8 are not, apart from cards reprinted in a legal set. Hyperia City becomes the sixth set in that pool. The announcement doesn't name the day Hyperia City cards become legal for tournaments; some third-party guides say October 23, but check your event's rules for prerelease weekend. Infinity Constructed allows cards from every set, apart from its banned list. Reading a card's set number →
TurnZero HQ's Lorcana catalog comes from Lorcast and is imported every night, so Hyperia City cards appear as Lorcast lists them. Lorcast already lists the set and 70 of its cards, which means revealed cards can be searched and added before release, and the rest arrive as Lorcast adds them. Prices come from TCGplayer through Lorcast, per finish, so a card shows a price once Lorcast carries one. How the collection tracker works →
Set completion counts the regular cards you own out of the set's printed total. TurnZero HQ works that total out from the first Enchanted, Epic or Iconic number, since Lorcast doesn't publish it. Until Lorcast lists those cards for Hyperia City, the total is the highest number listed so far, so expect it to move until the full set is in. How set completion counts →
The phone scanner reads the collector line at the bottom of the card, where Hyperia City cards print 14 as the set, and you can type a card in anywhere as the set and number, such as "14 23". How the scanner reads a card →
Decks in the Deck Lab are checked against Core Constructed or Infinity using the legality Lorcast gives each card. As of September 28, 2026, Lorcast doesn't list Hyperia City cards as legal in either format, so the deck check flags them until Lorcast updates them. TurnZero HQ tracks single cards, not sealed product, so booster boxes and troves aren't in the catalog.
As of September 28, 2026, we haven't found these in Ravensburger's announcements:
Ravensburger's next announced sets are Into the Inkdark in 2027, which adds collector boosters with serialized Illustrious cards, and Cosmic Quest in spring 2027.
As of September 28, 2026, Ravensburger lists prerelease events on October 16, 2026, at game stores and select Disney Parks and stores, and wide release everywhere on October 23, 2026. Lorcast, the card database TurnZero HQ imports from, lists October 16 as the set's date, which is the prerelease date.
Hyperia City is set 14, the main set after Attack of the Vine! (13). Its cards print 14 as the set number at the end of the collector line.
Ravensburger's announcement doesn't give a card count. Recent main sets have 204 regular cards (Attack of the Vine! has 207) plus Enchanted, Epic and Iconic cards numbered after them. As of September 28, 2026, Lorcast lists 70 Hyperia City cards, numbered as high as 201.
Ink drops are the new mechanic in Hyperia City. Ravensburger describes an ink drop as a counter that gives you one-time-use ink to spend on playing cards from your hand or on powering up other cards. The reminder text on the cards says you may remove an ink drop to pay 1 ink, and some cards do more if you removed an ink drop to play them.
Core Constructed has used cards from Fabled (set 9) onward since Attack of the Vine!, and rotation happens once a year. Hyperia City joins that pool; nothing in its announcement says another set rotates out with it. Ravensburger's announcement doesn't name the day its cards become tournament legal, so check your event's rules for that weekend.
Yes, as Lorcast lists them. TurnZero HQ's Lorcana catalog is imported from Lorcast every night, so Hyperia City cards appear in search, set completion and the scanner as Lorcast adds them, and each card's prices and format legality follow what Lorcast publishes.
