An e-Card set with its holos numbered apart, H1 to H32, and three Crystal Pokémon as secret rares: Kingdra, Lugia and Nidoking.

Aquapolis came out on January 15, 2003, with 182 cards: 152 Pokémon, 24 Trainers and 6 Energy. Its printed total is 147. Above it sit three secret rares, 148 to 150, and a list of 32 holofoil Pokémon numbered H1 to H32.

The secret rares are Crystal Pokémon, whose Crystal Type Poké-Body changes their type to match the basic Energy you attach. Every Pokémon on the H list also has a card in the main set, which has no holofoil Rares of its own.

Cards and rarities

Aquapolis has 182 cards. Every card shows its number over the printed total along the bottom, as in "4/147". The cards print a set symbol, not a set code; the code here is the short one the catalog and TurnZero HQ file the set under.

The printed total is 147. Above it are three Crystal Pokémon secret rares, 148 to 150, and the 32 Rare Holo cards, numbered H1 to H32. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts a set against its printed total and keeps the secret rares apart, so finishing the main set and chasing the cards above it read as two separate goals. These are each card's headline TCGplayer market price on October 22, 2026, except where a row gives an earlier day because the catalog had no newer price. What a complete set costs

One copy of every card in Aquapolis, bought as singles, cost $16,032.73 on October 22, 2026. That is the second most expensive of the three sets in the e-Card series.

Complete set $16,032.73
Main set, 1 to 147 $4,018.29
35 above 147 (3 secret, 32 H holos) $12,014.44
Top three cards $4,024.61 (25%)

The three most valuable cards, Houndoom, Umbreon and Nidoking, come to $4,024.61, or 25% of the total. Without them the set costs $12,008.12. Of the 177 cards, 7 were under $2.00, together $11.85; the other 170 add up to $16,020.88.

Five cards had no TCGplayer price on file and aren't counted: Golduck, Drowzee, Mr. Mime, Porygon and Slowking.

One card's price is older than October 22, 2026, because the catalog had no newer one: Houndoom (H11), $1,571.99 on October 17. It is counted at that price.

Each card is counted at its cheapest priced variant, usually a Normal copy rather than a Reverse Holofoil, or a stamped promo copy where the catalog prices one lower, at its TCGplayer market price. This is what it costs to buy the set as singles. It is not what opening packs returns, and not what a complete set would sell for, which after fees and the many cards worth cents would be noticeably less.

Playing it

Aquapolis is not legal in Standard or Expanded as a set: Expanded starts with the Black & White series in 2011. The catalog marks three of its 182 cards as legal anyway, one of them in Standard too.

They are Energy Switch, legal in both formats; and Rainbow Energy and Warp Energy, legal in Expanded only.

Each shares its name and text with a later, legal printing, which is what makes an older copy playable. Every other card in the set is legal in neither format.
