Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG · 2026 Set Guide
A 50-card all-foil deck built around the four Charmers. Almost every card is a reprint, two are new, and the Starlight Rare Charmers are the only cards worth much.
The Chronicles Deck: Spirit Charmers is a 50-card deck printed entirely in foil. The catalog lists 44 of its cards at Ultra Rare, and the four original Charmers at both Secret Rare and Starlight Rare.
Almost all of it is reprint. 48 of the 50 cards were printed before, the oldest being the four Charmers from 2005, and two are new: Spellbook of the Grand Circle and Charmers of the Grand Circle.
The list splits into 40 Main Deck cards and 10 Extra Deck monsters (Fusion, Xyz and Link), so the 50 cards make a complete deck with its Extra Deck included.
The Chronicles Deck: Spirit Charmers has 50 set codes, each starting CH02-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.
The four Charmers come at both Secret Rare and Starlight Rare, so each counts in both rows. The catalog does not list a rarity for 2 of the 50 yet: the two new cards, Spellbook of the Grand Circle (CH02-EN028) and Charmers of the Grand Circle (CH02-EN041). Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. The deck is built on the Charmers: four Level 3 Spellcasters from 2005, one each for WATER, FIRE, WIND and EARTH, that take control of an opponent's monster of their own Attribute. Most of the other cards support them, from the Familiar-Possessed and Channelers to the Awakening of the Possessed monsters and the Charmer Link Monsters.
Spellbook of the Grand Circle
CH02-EN028
New in this deck. Adds 4 Charmer monsters with different Attributes from your Deck, GY or banishment to your hand, then shuffles 2 cards from your hand into the Deck. Later you can banish it from the GY to Fusion Summon with Charmer or Familiar-Possessed monsters.
Charmers of the Grand Circle
CH02-EN041
The other new card, a Fusion Monster for 2+ Charmer or Familiar-Possessed monsters. When Fusion Summoned it applies one effect for each different original Attribute used, up to 4: gain 800 ATK, search a Possessed Spell/Trap, return a card on the field to the hand, or Special Summon a Spellcaster from your GY.
Eria the Water Charmer
CH02-EN001
A 2005 Flip monster. When flipped, it takes control of a face-up WATER monster your opponent controls for as long as it stays face-up.
Spirit Charmers
CH02-EN029
A Quick-Play Spell. Discard 1 card to take 2 differently named Charmer monsters, Familiar-Possessed monsters or Possessed Spells/Traps from your Deck, add one to your hand and Set the other.
Wynn the Wind Channeler
CH02-EN011
Always treated as a Charmer card. Discard it with another WIND monster to add a WIND monster with 1500 or less DEF from your Deck to your hand.
Awakening of the Possessed - Rasenryu
CH02-EN019
Special Summoned from your hand or Deck by sending a Spellcaster and a Level 4 or lower WIND monster you control to the GY. When Summoned this way, it can return a card your opponent controls to the hand.
Not every card is a Charmer. The deck also carries a four-monster Horus package with King's Sarcophagus, a few Spellbook cards, and general cards like these.
King's Sarcophagus
CH02-EN037
A Continuous Spell that protects Horus monsters from effects that do not target them. Up to four times per turn, you can send a card from your hand to the GY to send a Horus monster from your Deck to the GY.
Dark Ruler No More
CH02-EN035
Negates the effects of every face-up monster your opponent controls until the end of the turn, and neither player can respond with monster effects. Your opponent takes no damage for the rest of that turn.
Accesscode Talker
CH02-EN050
A Link-4 whose effect activations your opponent cannot respond to. Banish a Link Monster from your field or GY to destroy a card your opponent controls, with a different Attribute each time in a turn.
Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians
CH02-EN049
A Link-3 that gets a Spell Counter for each Spell on the field and in the GYs when Link Summoned. Once per turn, as a Quick Effect in the Main Phase, remove 3 to Special Summon a Spellcaster from your hand or GY.
The Starlight Rare Eria the Water Charmer is the most valuable card in the deck. It was $16.68 on September 30, with the Starlight Rare Hiita and Wynn close behind at $15.65 and $12.54.
The Secret Rare of the same card was $0.36, so nearly all of Eria's value is in the Starlight Rare foil. The fourth Starlight Rare, Aussa the Earth Charmer, had no price in the catalog yet.

The deck's prices are low outside the Starlight Rares. Only three printings were above $2 on September 30, all of them Starlight Rare Charmers, and every Ultra Rare except King's Sarcophagus was under 40 cents.

None of the 50 cards was on the Forbidden & Limited List on October 1, 2026.
The Charmers work by Attribute. Each Charmer takes control of an opposing monster of its own Attribute, each Familiar-Possessed is Special Summoned by sending its Charmer and another monster of that Attribute to the GY, and Charmers of the Grand Circle gets one effect for each Attribute used in its Fusion Summon. A deck that mixes Attributes gets more out of these cards.
The Horus monsters are a separate engine. Each one can Special Summon itself from the GY only while you control King's Sarcophagus, so keep the five cards together if you move them to another deck.
