Overview

Release date December 4, 2025
Set code PHRE
Cards 60 set codes, 104 printings
Product Booster set
Base rarity Rare
New cards 33 of 60

Phantom Revenge is a 60-card booster set with Rare as its base rarity, so it has no Commons. 40 of its 60 set codes come at Rare, and many cards come at two or three rarities, which is why the set has 104 printings.

33 cards are new, first released with the set on December 4, 2025, and they make up three new archetypes of eleven cards each: Hecahands (PHRE-EN001 to EN011), Enneacraft (EN016 to EN026) and Kewl Tune (EN031 to EN041).

The other 27 cards are reprints, going back to Change of Heart from 2002. Many fit the new themes: Snatch Steal and Change of Heart take your opponent's monsters, Pot of The Forbidden is a Flip monster, and Synchro Overtake and Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon are Synchro cards.

Cards and rarities

Phantom Revenge has 60 set codes, each starting PHRE-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.

RarityCardsWhat they are
Rare40The base rarity.
Super Rare29
Ultra Rare10Nine of them also come as Starlight Rares.
Collector's Rare15Fourteen new cards, plus the reprinted Snatch Steal.
Starlight Rare10All new cards: four Hecahands and Enneacraft monsters and six Kewl Tune cards.

Counts are set codes, so a card printed at two or three rarities counts in each row, and the rows add up to 104 printings for 60 set codes. Eight cards come at Ultra Rare, Collector's Rare and Starlight Rare. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. Archetypes

Each of the three new archetypes gets eleven cards. Hecahands are Illusion monsters that use your opponent's cards, Enneacraft are Pendulum Flip monsters, and Kewl Tune is a Synchro deck whose monsters are all Tuners.

Cards worth knowing

The reprints include general cards that work in many decks, not only the new archetypes.

The Ultra Rare of the same card was $3.76, less than a fifth of the Starlight Rare's price.

Playing it

Synchro Overtake is the only Phantom Revenge card on the Forbidden & Limited List as of October 1, 2026. It is Limited, so a deck can run one copy.

Kewl Tune asks you to Summon only Tuners. Kewl Tune Synchro, JJ "Kewl Tune" and Kewl Tune Cue each stop you from Special Summoning anything but Tuners for the rest of the turn, and several Kewl Tune monsters let a Tuner in your hand be used as Synchro Material, so the deck works best with few non-Tuner monsters.

Hecahands use your opponent's cards. Hecahands Jauzah can be Summoned by Tributing a monster your opponent owns, Hecahands Godos revives a monster from your opponent's GY to your field, and The Hidden Hecahands can make your opponent draw and discard. Reprints like Change of Heart and Snatch Steal give you monsters to Tribute for Jauzah.
