Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG · 2025 Set Guide
A 50-card all-foil deck built around Fallen of Albaz, Branded and Dogmatika. Two cards are new, and four Starlight Rares carry nearly all of its value.
The Chronicles Deck: The Fallen & The Virtuous is a 50-card deck printed entirely in foil. The catalog lists 44 of its cards at Ultra Rare, and four cards at both Secret Rare and Starlight Rare: Dogmatika Ecclesia, the Virtuous, Dogmatika Fleurdelis, the Knighted, Fusion Deployment and Triple Tactics Thrust.
Almost all of it is reprint. 48 of the 50 cards were printed before, the oldest being Gold Sarcophagus from 2007, and two are new: The Fallen & The Virtuous and The Dragon that Devours the Dogma.
The list splits into 40 Main Deck cards and 10 Fusion Monsters for the Extra Deck, so the 50 cards make a complete deck with its Extra Deck included.
The Chronicles Deck: The Fallen & The Virtuous has 50 set codes, each starting CH01-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.
The four Starlight Rare cards also come at Secret Rare, so each counts in both rows. The catalog does not list a rarity for 2 of the 50 yet: the two new cards, The Fallen & The Virtuous (CH01-EN019) and The Dragon that Devours the Dogma (CH01-EN041). It also tags the four Starlight Rare cards with a placeholder "New artwork" entry, which is left out. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. How set completion works →
The deck is built on Fallen of Albaz and the Fusion Monsters that list it as material, with Branded Spells and Traps to Summon them. Dogmatika, Bystial and Despia cards fill out the rest, and Branded is the largest group at 14 cards.
The Fallen & The Virtuous
CH01-EN019
New in this deck, a Quick-Play Spell treated as Branded and Dogmatika. Send a monster that mentions Fallen of Albaz from your Extra Deck to the GY to destroy a face-up card, or, with an Ecclesia monster in your field or GY, Special Summon a monster from either GY.
The Dragon that Devours the Dogma
CH01-EN041
The other new card, a Fusion of Fallen of Albaz, a LIGHT or DARK monster and an Effect Monster. With an Ecclesia monster on the field or in a GY it gains 500 ATK and is unaffected by other cards' effects, and when Special Summoned it shuffles up to 2 cards from the GYs or banishment into the Deck.
Fallen of Albaz
CH01-EN001
When Normal or Special Summoned, discard a card to Fusion Summon using monsters on either field as material, including this card.
Branded Fusion
CH01-EN020
Fusion Summons a Fusion Monster that mentions Fallen of Albaz as material, using 2 monsters from your hand, Deck or field. Limited to one copy.
Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon
CH01-EN042
A Fusion of Fallen of Albaz and a Fusion, Synchro, Xyz or Link Monster. Once per turn, as a Quick Effect, send a Fusion Monster that mentions Fallen of Albaz from your Extra Deck to the GY to banish a monster on the field.
Dogmatika Ecclesia, the Virtuous
CH01-EN014
Special Summons itself from your hand while a monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck is on the field. When Summoned, it adds another Dogmatika card from your Deck to your hand.
The deck also carries general cards that work outside the Fallen of Albaz theme. Four worth knowing:
Fusion Deployment
CH01-EN029
Reveal a Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck to Special Summon one of the materials named on it from your hand or Deck. For the rest of the turn you can only Special Summon Fusion Monsters from the Extra Deck.
Triple Tactics Thrust
CH01-EN030
If your opponent activated a monster effect this turn, Set a Normal Spell/Trap from your Deck, or add one to your hand if your opponent controls a monster. The Set card cannot be activated that turn.
Super Polymerization
CH01-EN033
A Quick-Play Spell. Discard a card to Fusion Summon using monsters from either field as material, and neither player can respond to its activation.
Nibiru, the Primal Being
CH01-EN017
If your opponent Summoned 5 or more monsters this turn, as a Quick Effect in the Main Phase, Tribute as many face-up monsters as possible to Special Summon it, and give your opponent a Primal Being Token.
The Starlight Rare Fusion Deployment is the most valuable card in the deck. It was $22.32 on September 30, 2026, with the Starlight Rare Triple Tactics Thrust close behind at $20.29.
The Secret Rare of the same card was $0.75, so nearly all of Fusion Deployment's value is in the Starlight Rare foil. The same holds for the other three Starlight Rare cards, whose Secret Rares were all under $1.50.

The deck's prices are low outside the Starlight Rares. Only five printings were above $2 on September 30, 2026, the four Starlight Rares and the Ultra Rare Super Polymerization, and every other Ultra Rare was under 60 cents.

Six cards in the deck are on the Forbidden & Limited List as of October 1, 2026. Bystial Magnamhut, Bystial Druiswurm, Branded Fusion, Foolish Burial and Gold Sarcophagus are Limited to one copy, and Branded in High Spirits is Semi-Limited to two. The deck has one copy of each, so it is legal as printed.
Most of the Extra Deck depends on Fallen of Albaz. Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon, Albion the Branded Dragon and The Dragon that Devours the Dogma all list it as material, and Branded Fusion only Summons Fusion Monsters that mention it, so treat Fallen of Albaz as the card the rest of the deck is built to find.
The new cards reward having an Ecclesia monster in play or in the GY. The Fallen & The Virtuous needs one for its revival effect, and The Dragon that Devours the Dogma needs one for its ATK boost and its protection, so the Dogmatika cards are part of the engine here rather than a side package.
October 24, 2025. Its set code is CH01, printed on the cards as CH01-EN001 through CH01-EN050.
