Product 48-card monster set
New cards 48 of 48
Top rarity Starlight Rare

Duelist's Advance has 48 cards, and every one of them is a monster. There are no Spells or Traps. The cards break down into 20 Commons, 13 Super Rares, 9 Ultra Rares and 6 Secret Rares, plus 15 Starlight Rares, one for every Ultra and Secret Rare.

All 48 cards are new. Each one was first released in this set on July 3, 2025.

The monsters cover most summoning types: 8 Fusion Monsters, 7 Xyz Monsters, 4 Synchro Monsters, a Ritual Monster and a Pendulum Monster sit beside the main deck Effect Monsters. The biggest themes are Artmage, Lunalight, a run of ten Psychic monsters, and the Zubaba, Gagaga, Gogogo and Dododo monsters with the Xyz Monsters that use them.

Cards and rarities

Duelist's Advance has 48 set codes, each starting DUAD-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.

RarityCardsWhat they are
Common20
Super Rare13
Ultra Rare9Each one is also printed as a Starlight Rare.
Secret Rare6Each one is also printed as a Starlight Rare.
Starlight Rare15The 9 Ultra Rares and 6 Secret Rares.

The 15 Ultra and Secret Rares count again in the Starlight Rare row, which is why the rows add up to 63 printings for 48 set codes. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. Themes

Artmage gets the most cards in Duelist's Advance, with Medius the Pure and Nerva the Power Patron of Creation built to work with it. Lunalight, the Psychic monsters and the Zubaba, Gagaga, Gogogo and Dododo monsters get smaller groups.

Cards worth knowing

Several of the new monsters support older cards or work outside the set's main themes.

The chase card: Medius the Pure

Rarity Starlight Rare
Set code DUAD-EN008
1st Edition market price, September 30, 2026 $109.63

The Starlight Rare Medius the Pure is Duelist's Advance's chase card. At $109.63 on September 30, 2026 it was the most valuable printing in the set.

It leads by a wide margin. The next most valuable printing, the Starlight Rare Artmage Diactorus, was $55.54, about half as much, and Artmage Diactorus is a Fusion Monster that names Medius the Pure as a material.

Medius the Pure comes at two rarities in the set, and the gap between them is large. The Ultra Rare was $2.10, under 2 percent of the Starlight Rare's price.

Playing it

Vanquish Soul Hollie Sue is the only Duelist's Advance card on the Forbidden & Limited List as of October 1, 2026. It is Limited, so a deck can run one copy.

Several Artmage cards check how many different Monster Types you control. Artmage Finmel, Artmage Graflare and Artmage Diactorus each get a Quick Effect when you have 3 or more different Types on your field, so an Artmage deck mixes Types on purpose.

With no Spells or Traps in the set, the Artmage and Lunalight monsters here lean on cards from other sets. Artmage Graflare Sets an Artmage Spell from your Deck, and Lunalight Liger Dancer needs Lunalight Leo Dancer as a material, and neither of those cards is in Duelist's Advance.
