Overview

Dimension of Chaos released November 5, 2015, with 100 cards under the DOCS set code: 44 Commons, 4 Short Prints, 20 Rares, 14 Super Rares, 10 Ultra Rares and 8 Secret Rares, with 5 Ultimate Rares and 1 Ghost Rare printed on top of some of those codes.

All 100 cards were new to the TCG with this set.

D/D gets the most cards, sixteen, including the Dark Contract Spells and Traps and several D/D/D Extra Deck monsters. Majespecter, WIND Pendulum Monsters that cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent's effects, gets ten, and Graydle and the new Black Luster Soldier cards eight each.

Cards and rarities

Dimension of Chaos has 100 set codes, each starting DOCS-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.

The five Ultimate Rares and the Ghost Rare share their codes with a lower printing of the same card, which is why the rows add up to 106 printings for 100 set codes. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. Archetypes

Dimension of Chaos has four main themes. D/D has the most cards, and Black Luster Soldier and Graydle have the most valuable ones.

Black Luster Soldier - Super Soldier

A Level 8 Ritual Monster that deals damage equal to the ATK of each monster it destroys by battle. When it is destroyed, it Special Summons a Gaia The Fierce Knight monster from your hand, Deck or GY.

Beginning Knight

A Black Luster Soldier Ritual Summoned with it can banish a monster and attack twice. Banished from the GY, it adds a Ritual Spell from your Deck to your hand.

Graydle Dragon

DOCS-EN048

A Level 8 Synchro for an Aqua Tuner that destroys up to one opponent's card for each WATER monster used as material, and revives another WATER monster when it is destroyed.

D/D/D Wave King Caesar

DOCS-EN090

A Rank 4 D/D/D for 2 Level 4 Fiends that brings back monsters destroyed this turn at the end of the Battle Phase, and searches a Dark Contract card when it goes to the GY.

Majespecter Raccoon - Bunbuku

DOCS-EN026

A Majespecter Pendulum Monster that searches another Majespecter when Summoned. Like the others, your opponent's effects cannot target or destroy it.

Kozmo Dark Destroyer

A Level 8 Kozmo that destroys a monster when Summoned and cannot be targeted by your opponent. Destroyed, it banishes itself to Special Summon a Level 7 or lower Kozmo from your Deck.

Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend

A Level 8 Synchro treated as Red Dragon Archfiend on the field and in the GY. Once per turn it destroys every other Special Summoned Effect Monster with ATK no higher than its own, for 500 damage each.

Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon

A Fusion of an Odd-Eyes and a Pendulum Monster that bounces an opponent's monster when Special Summoned, and shuffles a face-up Pendulum Monster from your Extra Deck into the Deck to negate and destroy a card or effect.

Evening Twilight Knight

A Black Luster Soldier Ritual Summoned with it can banish a monster or a random card from your opponent's hand. Banished from the GY, it searches a Ritual Monster.

Blazing Mirror Force

DOCS-EN076

A Trap that destroys all your opponent's Attack Position monsters when one attacks. You take half their combined original ATK as damage, and your opponent takes the same.

It is a Level 8 DARK Dragon Synchro Monster with 3000 ATK, treated as Red Dragon Archfiend while it is on the field or in the GY. Once per turn it destroys every other Special Summoned Effect Monster on the field whose ATK is no higher than its own, then deals 500 damage for each one.
