Dragons of Legend 2 released July 16, 2015, with 45 cards under the DRL2 set code: 26 Super Rares and 19 Secret Rares, and no Commons or Rares.

All 45 cards were new to the TCG with this set.

It continues the Legendary Knight story from Dragons of Legend, with Legendary Knight Critias and Hermos and the Fusion Monsters The Fang of Critias and The Claw of Hermos make. It also has eight Toon cards, seven Red-Eyes cards, eight Prediction Princess cards and seven Aquaactress cards.

Cards and rarities

Dragons of Legend 2 has 45 set codes, each starting DRL2-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.

RarityCardsWhat they are
Super Rare26Most of the Toon, Red-Eyes, Prediction Princess and Aquaactress cards.
Secret Rare19Most of the Legendary Knight cards, plus Mimicat, Toon Kingdom, Comic Hand and Lord of the Red.

Each set code has one rarity, so the 45 set codes are also 45 printings. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. Themes

Each theme in Dragons of Legend 2 is a small package of monsters and Spells. These are the main pieces of the Legendary Knight, Toon, Red-Eyes and Prediction Princess groups.

It is printed only as a Secret Rare in this set.

Rarity is in the foil rather than the set code, so check it before you price the copy in your hand. Reading the set code and rarity →

Playing it

No card in Dragons of Legend 2 is on the Forbidden & Limited List as of October 23, 2026, so a deck can run three copies of any of them.

The Critias Fusion Monsters each need one specific Trap: Mirror Force for Mirror Force Dragon, Crush Card Virus for Doom Virus Dragon. The Fang of Critias sends that Trap from your hand or field to Summon them, so a deck that plays them runs those Traps too.

The Legendary Knights need Legend of Heart, from the first Dragons of Legend, and the Legendary Dragon Spells, which The Fang of Critias and The Claw of Hermos count as.
