Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG · 2008 Set Guide
25 cards of Jesse Anderson's Crystal Beasts from Force of the Breaker, plus eight new cards, among them Hand Destruction and Grinder Golem.
Duelist Pack: Jesse Anderson is a 25-card set released January 26, 2008, with codes DP07-EN001 to DP07-EN025, on the same day as Duelist Pack: Jaden Yuki 3.
Sixteen of its cards are Crystal Beast cards, most reprinted from Force of the Breaker: six of the seven Crystal Beast monsters, Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins, Crystal Beacon and Crystal Promise, plus new support in Crystal Release, Crystal Tree, Counter Gem and Crystal Pair.
Eight cards were new in all. It is the lowest-priced set in this list's 2008 releases: on October 23, 2026 its most valuable printing was $3.34, and the catalog had no price for the Ultra Rare Counter Gem.
Duelist Pack: Jesse Anderson has 25 set codes, each starting DP07-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.
Each code is printed at a single rarity, so the rows add up to the set's 25 cards. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. The pack is a Crystal Beast deck: the monsters, the Field Spell and the cards that move them between the Spell & Trap Zone and the field.
Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle
DP07-EN006
Once per turn it returns a face-up Crystal Beast you control to the top of the Deck, and like every Crystal Beast it can become a Continuous Spell when destroyed.
Crystal Beacon
DP07-EN013
Special Summon a Crystal Beast from your Deck, if you have 2 or more Crystal Beast cards in your Spell & Trap Zone.
Crystal Release
DP07-EN019
New here: an Equip Spell for a Crystal Beast, 800 more ATK, and a Crystal Beast from your Deck placed in the Spell & Trap Zone when it leaves the field.
Crystal Tree
DP07-EN020
New here: collects Crystal Counters as Crystal Beasts are placed as Spells, then sends itself to the GY to place that many from your Deck.
The pack's new non-Crystal cards, one of them Forbidden.
Hand Destruction
DP07-EN018
A Quick-Play Spell: each player sends 2 cards from their hand to the GY, then draws 2.
Grinder Golem
DP07-EN009
Special Summoned to your opponent's field by giving you 2 Grinder Tokens. It is Forbidden.
Phantom Skyblaster
DP07-EN007
When Normal or Flip Summoned, Special Summon Skyblaster Tokens up to the number of monsters you control; each deals 300 damage in your Standby Phase.
The 1st Edition Rare Hand Destruction (DP07-EN018) was the set's most valuable card on October 23, 2026, at $3.34, a few cents ahead of the 1st Edition Super Rare Grinder Golem at $3.29.
It is a Quick-Play Spell: each player sends 2 cards from their hand to the GY, then draws 2 cards. It was new in this set.
