Hidden Arsenal is a 30-card set released November 5, 2009, with codes HA01-EN001 to HA01-EN030. 27 cards were new; the other three had appeared first in the 2009 5D's Starter Deck or a Duel Terminal preview, according to the catalog's release dates.

Every card in it is a foil: 15 Super Rares and 15 Secret Rares, with no Commons or Rares. It spreads those 30 cards across six small archetypes (Ice Barrier, Mist Valley, Flamvell, X-Saber, Ally of Justice and Worm), giving each a few monsters.

TCGplayer lists Limited Edition and Unlimited prices for every card, close to each other. This guide quotes Limited Edition.

Cards and rarities

Hidden Arsenal has 30 set codes, each starting HA01-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.

RarityCardsWhat they are
Super Rare15Half the set.
Secret Rare15The other half, including all five Synchro Monsters.

Each code is printed at a single rarity, so the rows add up to the set's 30 cards. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. How set completion works →

The Synchros

The set's five Synchro Monsters are all Secret Rares, and they hold most of its value.

Playing it

No Hidden Arsenal card is on the Forbidden & Limited List as of October 23, 2026, so a deck can run three copies of any of them.

With only a few cards per archetype, Hidden Arsenal is a set to add to an existing Ice Barrier, X-Saber or Flamvell deck rather than one to build a deck from on its own.
