Duelist Pack: Yusei Card List and Set Guide

Overview

Duelist Pack: Yusei is a 30-card set released February 24, 2009, with codes DP08-EN001 to DP08-EN030. It is the first Duelist Pack built around Synchro Monsters.

Most of it reprints The Duelist Genesis, Crossroads of Chaos and the 5D's Starter Deck: Junk Synchron and Junk Warrior, Stardust Dragon, Nitro Warrior and Turbo Warrior, and a run of Traps. Five cards were new: Fortress Warrior, Tuningware, Armory Arm, Give and Take and Limiter Overload.

Armory Arm, a new Synchro, is the set's most valuable card, and a Super Rare Stardust Dragon is second.

Cards and rarities

Duelist Pack: Yusei has 30 set codes, each starting DP08-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.

Each code is printed at a single rarity, so the rows add up to the set's 30 cards. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. Yusei's Synchros

The pack holds five Synchro Monsters and the Tuners to make them.

Stardust Dragon

DP08-EN014

A Level 8 Synchro. Tribute it to negate a card or effect that would destroy cards on the field; it returns in the End Phase. A Super Rare here.

Armory Arm

DP08-EN016

New here: a Level 4 Synchro that equips itself to a monster for 1000 ATK, and deals damage when that monster destroys one by battle.

Nitro Warrior

DP08-EN013

A Synchro made with Nitro Synchron that gains 1000 ATK for its next attack after you activate a Spell.

Junk Synchron

DP08-EN001

Junk Synchron: when Normal Summoned, Special Summon a Level 2 or lower monster from your GY in Defense Position with its effects negated.

The new cards

Three of the five new cards.

Tuningware

DP08-EN011

Can be treated as Level 2 for a Synchro Summon, and draws a card when used as Synchro Material.

Give and Take

DP08-EN029

Special Summon a monster from your GY to your opponent's field, and raise one of your monsters' Levels by its Level until the End Phase.

Limiter Overload

DP08-EN030

A Trap: if it is sent to the GY, Special Summon a Speed Warrior from your hand, Deck or GY.

The chase card: Armory Arm

Rarity Ultra Rare

Set code DP08-EN016

1st Edition market price, October 23, 2026 $23.71

The 1st Edition Ultra Rare Armory Arm (DP08-EN016) was the set's most valuable card on October 23, 2026, at $23.71. The 1st Edition Super Rare Stardust Dragon was next at $13.07.

The catalog had no Unlimited price for Armory Arm that day. It was new in this set.

It is a Level 4 LIGHT Machine Synchro Monster for 1 Tuner and 1 or more non-Tuners. Once per turn it equips itself to a monster on the field, giving it 1000 ATK, or unequips and Special Summons itself; while equipped, it deals damage when that monster destroys a monster by battle.

Rarity is in the foil rather than the set code, so check it before you price the copy in your hand. Reading the set code and rarity →
