Secrets of Eternity Card List and Set Guide

Overview

Secrets of Eternity released January 15, 2015, with 100 cards under the SECE set code: 44 Commons, 4 Short Prints, 20 Rares, 14 Super Rares, 10 Ultra Rares and 8 Secret Rares, with 5 Ultimate Rares and 1 Ghost Rare printed on top of some of those codes.

All 100 cards were new to the TCG with this set.

Infernoid is the new theme, with eleven cards: FIRE Fiends that Special Summon themselves by banishing other Infernoids, as long as the Levels and Ranks of your Effect Monsters add up to 8 or less. Performapal gets nine cards, and Superheavy Samurai, Burning Abyss and Qliphort get four or five each.

Cards and rarities

Secrets of Eternity has 100 set codes, each starting SECE-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.

The five Ultimate Rares and the Ghost Rare share their codes with a lower printing of the same card, which is why the rows add up to 106 printings for 100 set codes. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. Archetypes

Infernoid gets the most cards in Secrets of Eternity. Burning Abyss, Qliphort, Nekroz and Superheavy Samurai each get a few more pieces, including an Extra Deck or Ritual Monster.

Infernoid Onuncu

SECE-EN019

A Level 10 Infernoid Special Summoned by banishing 3 Infernoids. When Special Summoned it can destroy every other monster, and once per turn it Tributes a monster to negate and banish a Spell or Trap.

Infernoid Antra

SECE-EN013

A Level 2 Infernoid Special Summoned by banishing one Infernoid. It returns a face-up card your opponent controls to the hand, and on their turn Tributes a monster to banish a card from their GY.

Malacoda, Netherlord of the Burning Abyss

SECE-EN085

A Burning Abyss Ritual Monster. On either turn it sends a Burning Abyss monster from your hand to the GY to cut a monster's ATK and DEF by that monster's stats, and it sends a card on the field to the GY when it leaves.

Qliphort Monolith

SECE-EN020

A Scale 1 Qliphort. In the Pendulum Zone it draws a card in the End Phase for each Qli monster you Tributed for Tribute Summons that turn.

Nekroz of Gungnir

SECE-EN044

A Level 7 Nekroz Ritual Monster. Discard it to protect a Nekroz monster for the turn, or discard a Nekroz card to destroy a card on the field.

Superheavy Samurai Warlord Susanowo

SECE-EN048

A Level 10 Superheavy Samurai Synchro that can attack in Defense Position using its DEF. With no Spells or Traps in your GY, it Sets one from your opponent's GY on your field.

Cards worth knowing

Four more cards from the set, from the Monarch and Shaddoll lines and the Extra Deck.

Caius the Mega Monarch

SECE-EN035

A Level 8 Monarch you can Tribute Summon with one Tribute Summoned monster. It banishes a card on the field for 1000 damage, and if that was a DARK monster, banishes every card with its name from its owner's hand, Deck, Extra Deck and GY.

Stellarknight Constellar Diamond

SECE-EN051

A Rank 5 for 3 or more Level 5 LIGHT monsters. While it has material, no cards can be sent from the Deck to the GY, and it detaches to negate and destroy an opponent's DARK monster effect.

Nephe Shaddoll Fusion

SECE-EN059

An Equip Spell for a Shaddoll that changes its Attribute and, once per turn, Fusion Summons a Shaddoll Fusion Monster using the equipped monster.

Metaphys Horus

SECE-EN049

A Level 6 Synchro with an effect for each kind of non-Tuner it used: unaffected by other effects for a Normal Monster, negating a card for an Effect Monster, or taking an opponent's monster for a Pendulum Monster.

The chase card: Malacoda, Netherlord of the Burning Abyss

Malacoda, Netherlord of the Burning Abyss

SECE-EN085

Rarity Ghost Rare

Set code SECE-EN085

1st Edition market price, October 22, 2026 $25.67

The Ghost Rare Malacoda, Netherlord of the Burning Abyss (SECE-EN085) is Secrets of Eternity's chase card, at $25.67 on October 22, 2026. Nothing else in the set reached $9.

Malacoda is a Level 6 DARK Fiend Ritual Monster, Ritual Summoned with Good & Evil in the Burning Abyss. On either player's turn it can send a Burning Abyss monster from your hand to the GY to lower a face-up opponent's monster's ATK and DEF by that monster's ATK and DEF, and when it is sent from the field to the GY it sends a card on the field to the GY.

Its Secret Rare printing shares the SECE-EN085 code and was $8.75, about a third of the Ghost Rare.

Secrets of Eternity card list

Every set code in Secrets of Eternity, in set code order, with each rarity it is printed at: 100 set codes in all, as listed in TurnZero HQ's catalog on October 23, 2026. Each name goes to that card's page, with today's price for every printing.

Playing it

No card in Secrets of Eternity is on the Forbidden & Limited List as of October 23, 2026, so a deck can run three copies of any of them.

Infernoids work around their own limit: the Special Summon conditions count the Levels and Ranks of your Effect Monsters, so the deck keeps its field small and banishes Infernoids from the hand and GY as a cost. Void Seer, Void Expansion and Eye of the Void are its Spell and Trap support here.

Good & Evil in the Burning Abyss, the Ritual Spell for Malacoda, is in the same set, at SECE-EN086.
