What each set added
Archazia's Island introduced dual-ink cards, 62 of them, along with Illusion characters and Vanish. Reign of Jafar added 60 more dual-ink cards and more Illusions. Fabled reprinted 170 cards from sets 1 to 4 as Core Constructed began, and introduced the Epic and Iconic rarities. Whispers in the Well introduced Boost, the Whispers and the Gargoyles.
The chase card in each set
Archazia's Island and Reign of Jafar top out at Enchanted, so their chase cards cost a fraction of the Iconics that Fabled and Whispers in the Well introduced. Fabled's Iconic Mickey Mouse was worth nine to ten times either set's top Enchanted.

The guides
Archazia's Island (set 7, March 21, 2025). The set that introduced dual-ink cards: 62 of its regular cards belong to two inks at once, with every pair of inks represented, beside the first Illusion characters and their Vanish keyword.
Reign of Jafar (set 8, June 6, 2025). Jafar's set: the second dual-ink set, with more Illusions for his Vanish army and a Legendary 10-cost Mickey Mouse that deals 5 damage to everything when he falls.
Fabled (set 9, September 5, 2025). The set that opened Core Constructed: 170 of its regular cards reprint favorites from the four sets that rotated out, and it introduced the Epic and Iconic rarities, including the most valuable card of 2025 and 2026.
Whispers in the Well (set 10, November 14, 2025). The set that introduced Boost: 24 characters that take cards under them for ink, most of them Whispers, beside the Gargoyles' first appearance and a detective cast led by Zootopia.
Core Constructed and the 2025 sets
Core Constructed began with Fabled, leaving sets 1 to 4 out of it. Attack of the Vine! rotated sets 5 to 8 out in July 2026, which took Archazia's Island and Reign of Jafar with them. Fabled and Whispers in the Well stay Core legal, and Infinity Constructed allows every set. Deck building rules for both formats →
