Jinx in Riftbound
Jinx has 1 Legend, 1 Signature card and 2 champion units in the released Riftbound sets. Here is every one, what it does, and how they fit together in a Jinx deck.
Jinx's Legend
A Jinx deck is led by Jinx, Loose Cannon, which plays Fury and Chaos. The Legend is the card that leads your deck: its tag names your champion and its two domains are the only ones your other cards can come from.
| Card | Set | Domain | Rules text |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jinx, Loose Cannon | Origins | Fury and Chaos | At start of your Beginning Phase, draw 1 if you have one or fewer cards in your hand. |
Text is as Riot's card gallery gives it, with icons in brackets: [1] is 1 Energy, [Any Power] is 1 Power of any domain and [Exhaust] means turn the card sideways. Every Riftbound Legend →
Jinx's Signature cards
Jinx has 1 Signature card. A Signature card carries one champion's tag, and only a deck whose Legend names that champion can play it. Your deck can hold at most 3 Signature cards in total, counting copies.
| Card | Set | Type | Domain | Cost | Rules text |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Super Mega Death Rocket! | Origins | Signature spell | Fury and Chaos | 4 | Deal 5 to a unit. When you conquer, you may discard 1 to return this from your trash to your hand. |
Jinx's champion units
Jinx has 2 champion units across 1 set. One copy of a champion unit sits out as your Chosen Champion, which must carry your Legend's tag, so these are the cards a Jinx deck picks it from. Each has its own name, and the 3-copy limit counts each name apart.
| Card | Set | Domain | Rarity | Cost | Might | Rules text |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jinx, Demolitionist | Origins | Fury | Rare | 3 | 4 | [Accelerate] (You may pay [1][Fury] as an additional cost to have me enter ready.) [Assault 2] (+2 [Might] while I'm an attacker.) When you play me, discard 2. |
| Jinx, Rebel | Origins | Chaos | Epic | 5 | 5 | When you discard one or more cards, ready me and give me +1 [Might] this turn. |
Building aJinx deck
A Riftbound deck has 1 Legend, a main deck of at least 40 cards, 12 runes and 3 battlefields. Every card in the main deck has to come from your Legend's two domains, which decides which of Jinx's cards each Legend can use.
| Legend | Domains | Chosen Champion options | Signature cards in its domains |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jinx, Loose Cannon | Fury and Chaos | Jinx, Demolitionist, Jinx, Rebel | Super Mega Death Rocket! |
A champion unit can be your Chosen Champion only if every domain it has is one of your Legend's two. Units of other champions can still go in your main deck as ordinary cards if their domains fit. The full deck-building rules → Published Riftbound decks →
