Leona in Riftbound
Leona has 1 Legend, 1 Signature card and 2 champion units in the released Riftbound sets. Here is every one, what it does, and how they fit together in a Leona deck.
Leona's Legend
A Leona deck is led by Leona, Radiant Dawn, which plays Calm and Order. The Legend is the card that leads your deck: its tag names your champion and its two domains are the only ones your other cards can come from.
| Card | Set | Domain | Rules text |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leona, Radiant Dawn | Origins | Calm and Order | When you stun one or more enemy units, buff a friendly unit. (If it doesn't have a buff, it gets a +1 [Might] buff.) |
Text is as Riot's card gallery gives it, with icons in brackets: [1] is 1 Energy, [Any Power] is 1 Power of any domain and [Exhaust] means turn the card sideways. Every Riftbound Legend →
Leona's Signature cards
Leona has 1 Signature card. A Signature card carries one champion's tag, and only a deck whose Legend names that champion can play it. Your deck can hold at most 3 Signature cards in total, counting copies.
| Card | Set | Type | Domain | Cost | Rules text |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zenith Blade | Origins | Signature spell | Calm and Order | 3 | [Action] (Play on your turn or in showdowns.) Stun an enemy unit at a battlefield. You may move a friendly unit to that enemy unit's battlefield. (A stunned unit doesn't deal combat damage this turn.) |
Leona's champion units
Leona has 2 champion units across 1 set. One copy of a champion unit sits out as your Chosen Champion, which must carry your Legend's tag, so these are the cards a Leona deck picks it from. Each has its own name, and the 3-copy limit counts each name apart.
| Card | Set | Domain | Rarity | Cost | Might | Rules text |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Leona, Zealot | Origins | Calm | Epic | 6 | 6 | If an opponent's score is within 3 points of the Victory Score, I enter ready. Stunned enemy units here have -8 [Might], to a minimum of 1 [Might]. |
| Leona, Determined | Origins | Order | Rare | 4 | 4 | [Shield] (+1 [Might] while I'm a defender.) When I attack, stun an enemy unit here. (It doesn't deal combat damage this turn.) |
Building aLeona deck
A Riftbound deck has 1 Legend, a main deck of at least 40 cards, 12 runes and 3 battlefields. Every card in the main deck has to come from your Legend's two domains, which decides which of Leona's cards each Legend can use.
| Legend | Domains | Chosen Champion options | Signature cards in its domains |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leona, Radiant Dawn | Calm and Order | Leona, Zealot, Leona, Determined | Zenith Blade |
A champion unit can be your Chosen Champion only if every domain it has is one of your Legend's two. Units of other champions can still go in your main deck as ordinary cards if their domains fit. The full deck-building rules → Published Riftbound decks →
