Viktor in Riftbound
Viktor has 1 Legend, 1 Signature card and 2 champion units in the released Riftbound sets. Here is every one, what it does, and how they fit together in a Viktor deck.
Viktor's Legend
A Viktor deck is led by Viktor, Herald of the Arcane, which plays Mind and Order. The Legend is the card that leads your deck: its tag names your champion and its two domains are the only ones your other cards can come from.
| Card | Set | Domain | Rules text |
|---|---|---|---|
| Viktor, Herald of the Arcane | Origins | Mind and Order | [1], [Exhaust]: Play a 1 [Might] Recruit unit token. |
Text is as Riot's card gallery gives it, with icons in brackets: [1] is 1 Energy, [Any Power] is 1 Power of any domain and [Exhaust] means turn the card sideways. Every Riftbound Legend →
Viktor's Signature cards
Viktor has 1 Signature card. A Signature card carries one champion's tag, and only a deck whose Legend names that champion can play it. Your deck can hold at most 3 Signature cards in total, counting copies.
| Card | Set | Type | Domain | Cost | Rules text |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Siphon Power | Origins | Signature spell | Mind and Order | 2 | [Reaction] (Play any time, even before spells and abilities resolve.) Choose a battlefield. Give friendly units there +1 [Might] this turn and enemy units there -1 [Might] this turn, to a minimum of 1 [Might]. |
Viktor's champion units
Viktor has 2 champion units across 1 set. One copy of a champion unit sits out as your Chosen Champion, which must carry your Legend's tag, so these are the cards a Viktor deck picks it from. Each has its own name, and the 3-copy limit counts each name apart.
| Card | Set | Domain | Rarity | Cost | Might | Rules text |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Viktor, Innovator | Origins | Mind | Rare | 4 | 3 | When you play a card on an opponent's turn, play a 1 [Might] Recruit unit token in your base. |
| Viktor, Leader | Origins | Order | Epic | 4 | 4 | When another non-Recruit unit you control dies, play a 1 [Might] Recruit unit token into your base. |
Building aViktor deck
A Riftbound deck has 1 Legend, a main deck of at least 40 cards, 12 runes and 3 battlefields. Every card in the main deck has to come from your Legend's two domains, which decides which of Viktor's cards each Legend can use.
| Legend | Domains | Chosen Champion options | Signature cards in its domains |
|---|---|---|---|
| Viktor, Herald of the Arcane | Mind and Order | Viktor, Innovator, Viktor, Leader | Siphon Power |
A champion unit can be your Chosen Champion only if every domain it has is one of your Legend's two. Units of other champions can still go in your main deck as ordinary cards if their domains fit. The full deck-building rules → Published Riftbound decks →
