Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG
Blue-Eyes White Dragon is Seto Kaiba's dragon and one of the best-known cards in Yu-Gi-Oh!. This guide covers the card, the original printings, the Blue-Eyes cards built around it, the new ones coming in 2026, and what each sells for.
Blue-Eyes White Dragon is a Level 8 LIGHT Dragon Normal Monster with 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF. It was in the TCG's first set in 2002, and its text box holds flavor text: "This legendary dragon is a powerful engine of destruction. Virtually invincible, very few have faced this awesome creature and lived to tell the tale."
TurnZero HQ's catalog lists 78 printings of it. Being Level 8, it needs 2 Tributes to Normal Summon, so the Blue-Eyes cards printed since mostly exist to get it onto the field another way.
Two printings came out in 2002, and they are the ones worth checking for. The set code is printed under the artwork on the right, and the edition mark under the artwork on the left.
Those are TCGplayer market prices for ungraded copies on October 10, 2026. The catalog also lists LOB-EN001, LOB-E001 and SDK-E001 as separate printings of the same two products, and none of them had a market price that day, so a copy with one of those codes isn't priced like LOB-001. 1st Edition vs. Unlimited →
TurnZero HQ's catalog tags 44 cards with the Blue-Eyes archetype. These are the ones people ask about most, described from each one's card text.

The White Phantom Beast's second effect reads: "If this card is Special Summoned from the hand or Deck: You can destroy all monsters your opponent controls, also you can only attack directly with 'Blue-Eyes' monsters for the rest of this turn." Neither card had a market price on October 10, 2026, before its release.
A Blue-Eyes card's price depends on the printing. The table shows the cheapest priced printing and the highest regular set printing of each, from TCGplayer market prices on October 10, 2026.
After LOB-001, the most valuable regular Blue-Eyes White Dragons on the same day were the GFP2-EN175 Ghost Rare at $335.79, the KC01-EN000 Quarter Century Secret Rare from the 25th Anniversary Ultimate Kaiba Set at $292.89, and SDK-001 at $244.40.
The table leaves out promotional and Duel Terminal printings, such as the Dark Duel Stories DDS-001, which sell on very few sales and have no reliable market price. Prices are for ungraded copies. How Yu-Gi-Oh! card prices work →
With 78 printings of one card, the printing and edition are what you need to record. TurnZero HQ's Yu-Gi-Oh! collection keeps each copy's printing, edition, condition and grade, and values it from TCGplayer's market price for that edition, updated daily. The scanner reads the set code, so it can tell an LOB-001 from a reprint, and asks for the rarity when one code was printed at several. How the collection tracker prices cards →
Most copies sell for under a dollar, because it has been reprinted dozens of times. The original Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon printing, LOB-001, is the exception: its 1st Edition Ultra Rare had a TCGplayer market price of $3,799.92 on October 10, 2026, and the Unlimited copy $126.48. Read the set code and the edition mark before you look up a price.
LOB-001, from Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon, and SDK-001, from Starter Deck: Kaiba, are the two first English printings, both from 2002. The catalog also lists LOB-EN001, LOB-E001 and SDK-E001 as separate printings with their own prices, so read the code exactly.
No. Blue-Eyes White Dragon and the other Blue-Eyes cards on this page are Unlimited on the TCG Forbidden & Limited List effective September 21, 2026, so you can run 3 copies of each.
