Create Free AccountA One Piece card prints its card number in the bottom right corner, like OP01-016, but not how many cards the set holds. So TurnZero HQ counts each set from the catalog: every printing TCGplayer lists in that set, split into its base printings and everything else. Finishing the base printings is what completing the set means here.
So a set reads as your base printings out of its total, with the extras shown as their own count next to it. Finishing the base set is a milestone on its own, and the chase cards stay visible without making it look further away than it is. Reading the card number →
A printing is a base printing when TCGplayer lists it with no label after its name and it isn't a DON!! card. Everything else goes in the extras tally:

Open a set for every printing in it, in card-number order, each card's base printing first and its special printings after it. Printings you own are bright, with how many copies you have; the ones you're missing are dimmed. Filter to Missing for a want list you can take to your next event, or to Owned to see what you've pulled.

By the set's base printings: the standard printing of each card TCGplayer lists in the set, the one with no Parallel, Alternate Art or other label. One Piece cards don't print a set total the way some games do, so the total is counted from the catalog. Four copies of one printing count as one toward the set.
Not toward the main count. Parallels, Alternate Arts, Manga and Super Alternate Arts, Wanted Posters, SP cards and the set's DON!! cards are shown as their own tally beside it, because they sit on top of a finished set rather than being part of finishing it. Each one you own ticks that tally once.
No. Normal and Foil are finishes of the same printing, so owning either ticks it. Your finishes are still recorded on each copy, with their own prices.
Every One Piece set TCGplayer lists: booster sets like OP01 Romance Dawn, extra boosters, premium boosters, starter decks, and promotion and event cards. A new set appears as soon as TCGplayer lists it, often during presale, before most of its prices exist.
Because it reprints them. A set's checklist is what was printed in that set, so a starter deck or premium booster that reprints OP09-056 lists that printing under its own set, while the original stays in OP09.
