One Piece Card Game
A One Piece booster box costs $119.76 at Bandai's MSRP, but new boxes sell for about two to three times that and out-of-print ones for far more. Here is every English box's market price on October 11, 2026, and when singles are the better buy.
Retailer listings for recent English main sets, such as OP-09 and OP-12, describe a box as 24 booster packs of 12 cards each. Bandai's product pages don't give a pack count, only a price per pack, and premium and extra boosters can be configured differently, so check the listing for the box in front of you.
Bandai's MSRP is $4.99 per pack for every main set from OP-11 to OP-18 and for the Extra Boosters EB-02, EB-03 and EB-05. Premium Booster PRB-02 is $5.49 a pack. At 24 packs, $4.99 works out to $119.76 for a box, and that is the figure the comparisons below use.
Each pack draws from the whole set, so a box gives you a spread of base printings and a few higher rarities, with a chance at the special printings (Alternate Arts, SPs, Manga) that hold most of a set's value. Bandai doesn't publish pull rates. How the special printings differ →
TCGplayer market prices on October 11, 2026, oldest first. TCGplayer lists no booster box for OP-01, EB-02 or EB-03, so they are left out. Prices move daily.
Every 2026 box sold for well over its $119.76 MSRP on October 11, 2026, from $220.69 for OP-16 (about 1.8 times MSRP) to $303.68 for OP-17 (about 2.5 times). Demand from players and collectors has kept every recent set's box above retail.
Age alone doesn't decide what an older box is worth. OP-10 and OP-11 released less than three months apart, yet OP-11's box was $566.03 and OP-10's $248.97. OP-05, at $1,053.09, is worth more than OP-02, OP-03 or OP-04, all older. What moves a box is the value of the cards people expect to pull from it, which is why OP-13, with Super Alternate Arts worth thousands of dollars, sat at $440.55, well above the 2026 sets. The most expensive One Piece cards →
For almost every set, a sealed box cost more than 24 loose packs of the same set on October 11, 2026. A factory-sealed box is worth more to many buyers because nobody could have picked through it. OP-10 was within a dollar either way, and OP-02 was the one set where 24 loose packs ($613.68) cost more than the box ($553.65).
Loose packs are the cheaper way to open a few packs of a set. If you buy them, buy from a seller you trust, for the same reason sealed boxes cost more.
If you want a particular card, buy the single. Most printings in a set sell for very little: in OP-17, 109 of the 119 base printings were under $1 on October 11, 2026, and the most valuable base printing, Loki, was $25.38. A $303.68 box is a lot to spend chasing one of the set's Manga or Super Alternate Art printings, which are rare by design.
A box is the better choice if you enjoy opening packs, want a large stack of a new set's playables at once, or want to keep it sealed. The card lists show what each printing in a set sells for, so you can see what you'd be opening for. The OP-17 card list with every price →
Two boxes are on pre-order. On October 11, 2026, TCGplayer's market price for an EB-05 Heroines Edition Vol. 2 box (releasing October 30, 2026) was $358.75, and for an OP-18 The Dominance of God box (November 20, 2026) $359.79. Both are about three times the $119.76 MSRP, and both prices were set before anyone had opened a pack, so expect them to move once the sets are out.
Retailer listings for recent English main sets, such as OP-09 and OP-12, describe 24 packs of 12 cards. Bandai's own product pages give a price per pack but not a pack count, and premium and extra boosters can differ, so check the listing for the box you're buying.
Bandai sets the MSRP per pack: $4.99 for every main set from OP-11 through OP-18 and for the Extra Boosters EB-02, EB-03 and EB-05, and $5.49 for Premium Booster PRB-02. At 24 packs, $4.99 a pack works out to $119.76 a box. Stores set their own prices, and new boxes have sold well above that.
Of the boxes TCGplayer prices, OP-05 Awakening of the New Era, at $1,053.09 on October 11, 2026. Premium Booster PRB-01 was second at $903.88 and EB-01 Memorial Collection third at $875.09. OP-01 Romance Dawn has no box listed, but a single pack was $66.93.
On October 11, 2026, a sealed box cost more than 24 loose packs of the same set for every main set TCGplayer prices except two: OP-10, where the two were within a dollar, and OP-02, where 24 packs cost $613.68 against the box's $553.65. A factory-sealed box is worth more to many buyers because nobody could have picked through it.
If you want a particular card, no: buying that single is almost always cheaper, because most printings in a set sell for under $1 and the chase cards are rare. A box makes sense if you enjoy opening packs, want a large stack of a new set's playables, or are buying it sealed to keep.
