Hold a card under your phone's camera and it's in your collection. TurnZero HQ reads the card number in the bottom right corner, adds the card, and gives you one tap to switch to the printing you're actually holding.

Create Free AccountIn My Library, switch the game menu to One Piece and tap Scan, beside the My cards and Add cards tabs. The camera opens with a running list of what has been added this session underneath it.
Fit the whole card in the frame and keep the bottom right corner clear of glare, since that's where the card number is printed.
Each recognized card is added to your collection the moment it is read, so switching apps halfway through a stack loses nothing. Undo on any row takes that copy back off.
The scanner adds the card's standard printing and asks "Not this printing?" right under it, listing the card's other printings. Tap Switch on the one in your hand and the copy moves there.
The phone reads every line of text on the card and TurnZero HQ looks through them from the bottom up for a card number, since that's where One Piece prints it. Every kind of number is recognized:
Cameras often read the letter O as a zero, so "0P01-016" is corrected to OP01-016 before it's looked up. A card number names a card, not a printing. OP13-118 is a Secret Rare in its own set, and also a Parallel, a Super Alternate Art and a promo, all with that number and the same text, and far apart in price. A camera reading text can't tell which one you're holding, so the scanner makes a guess and says it's a guess.
The guess is the standard printing from the set the number belongs to: OP13 for OP13-118, the ST21 starter deck for ST21-001. It's added straight away, and "Not this printing?" appears under it with the card's other printings. Switch moves the copy to the one you pick, so you don't end up owning both. The scanner reads a new frame about once a second, so it needs a rule for when a card is new. A new card is one whose number differs from the last card added. Holding the same card up adds it once, and so does switching it to its Parallel while it's still in frame. For a second copy of the same card, tap +1 on its row.
Everything the camera does from a card's number also works from what you type:
OP01-016: the number as printed
op01 16: capitals, the dash and leading zeros don't matter
P-001: promo numbers need their dash
That's how the web app adds cards, since a browser has no scanner camera, and it's often quicker on a phone for a card in a sleeve with glare across the corner.
The card number printed in the bottom right corner, like "OP01-016", "ST21-001", "EB02-010" or "P-001". Each number belongs to one card, so it is the most reliable thing on the card to read. If no number can be read but a line matches a card's name exactly, you're shown that card's printings to pick from.
No, and it doesn't pretend to. A card's printings share its number and its text, and only the art tells them apart. So the scanner adds its best guess, the standard printing from the card number's own set, and offers every other printing of that card right under it. If you have a Parallel, Alternate Art or a reprint, tap Switch on it.
A card with the same number as the one just added is treated as still being in the frame, so holding a card up doesn't add it over and over, even after you switch it to another printing. To add a second copy, tap +1 on its row, or scan a different card in between.
The camera scanner is for phones. On the web you type the card number instead, like "OP01-016", and the same matching finds it.
No. The text on the card is read on your phone, and only those lines of text are sent to TurnZero HQ to match against the catalog. No picture of the card is uploaded or stored.
